with the new camera angles this yr, catcher 9 seems to be the best for me to see balls and strikes....also with these sliders, anyone else raise pitch speed at all?..im thinking about doing it, a 95 4seam looks like 90 to me

Our first release has pitch speed 4 but i play on 5, its very much personal preference is that slider.

ive played 30 games with these sliders. 8-22. im still new to the show so i realize why its bad, but I notice on these sliders the computer doesnt chase much out of the zone. i pitch a lot out of the zone to make them chase and they simply don't

ive played 30 games with these sliders. 8-22. im still new to the show so i realize why its bad, but I notice on these sliders the computer doesnt chase much out of the zone. i pitch a lot out of the zone to make them chase and they simply don't

try pitching high....i find that i have better luck getting them to chase up or when I set them up with high heat and then break a curveball or changeup or slider out of the zone low

OK, so my pitching is decent with these. But my hitting is horrible.
I've been shutout in 2 straight games getting only 9 hits total and striking out 28 times.
Seems like any contact I make lately is a foul ball.
I'm seriously considering moving down to veteran hitting with all other sliders the same. Or maybe I should change from analog hitting to timing only for a little while just to get my swing back?
Very open to any tips/suggestions right now.
These sliders are awesome with the exception of my hitting which is probably 99.9% my own fault.

Give these settings a go w/ analog + veteran. That's what I've been using and it's been working out very well.

You need to pitch better.....bottom line.

Throw some balls.....don't be scared to walk a batter....stick with the corners even if it's a 3-0 or 2-1 count. Mix it up your pitches and location better, set guys up, etc.

Stick with it and get better - don't just tweak CPU Power down, pitch better....stick with it

Ha Ha, I wish that was the response the game gave you when you tried to adjust a slider and you got a popup box saying that you need to get better instead of changing the slider.

And the 2nd bolded part made me wonder if this was a slider thread.

I actually find that I hit better using Zone

what is the difference between zone and timing? ive never noticed much of a difference but others swear it is a major difference

Timing = you just tap the swing button

ZONE = you tap the swing button while aiming with the left analog stick......example: low pitch = down on the left analog along with hitting the swing button

ill stick to timing. i am a better hitter with timing I feel. tried to get used to the analog hitting. played 15 games and wow was I horrible lmao
