Yes the OP is what everyone is using. There aren't any changes to be made at this time.

So are you getting any offense at all with this set.
I have come to the conclusion this set is not for me.
After 30 games in my CHW season I am batting .189 as a team with only 8 hrs.
Meanwhile my team ERA is 1.99.
I am just not seeing any offense at all.

I'm having the same problem as you regarding pitching... I dominate every time I'm on the hill, thinking of maybe jumping up to HOF for pitching.

I'm just playing random exhibition games... My last 3 games...

          R H
          Tigers 0 4
          Rays (me) 1 8

          0 HR
          2 2B

          R H
          White Sox (me) 0 6
          O's 3 7

          2 HR
          3 2B

          R H
          Brewers (me) 4 11
          Twins 1 8

          2 HR
          1 2B

I'm getting my share of HR's... But, I'm hitting A LOT of singles... I can't seem to get any doubles or triples.

I recommend using one of these...

            TNK's Custom Camera (1st picture)

            or

I use G'Mo's camera but I leave the camera centered and I noticed my offense seems to be better because I can read pitches better.

TNK... What are thinking of lowering Human/CPU Foul Balls to? I'm thinking it should be lowered to at least 3... Still in my games that I play, every hitter seems to foul off at least 2-3 pitches... Lowering this should lead to more K's.

My very next game against the Cubs, they hit a very inside change up over the wall for a lead-off home run. Its like they can read my location

Also, the CPU is getting a ton of down-the-line doubles while seemingly being able to vacuum every down-the-line ball that I hit. Anyone else witnessing this?
Ive had a few games like this too. One game aginst the A's, they put up 6 runs in the first inning against kershaw (me) and didnt get a run or a hit the rest of the game (weird). During that inning they hit a ton of liners just past my fielders gloves, but they snagged everyone of my low-liners. White sox put up 16 runs on me in a game, but Kinerko struck out 4 times and the rest of thier sluggers were unproductive too, it was the back-half of the lineup killing me, fortunately not every game is like this, but i suppose that stuff could happen in real life. Just keep playing and pitching smart, and you will get better, i was frustrated as hell early on trying to get used to this set, but the more u play the better you get, and the games start feeling more and more realistic in the long run.

Averaging 2-3 walks per game and could be more if not for the curve ball. However, I live and die by the home run. I cant seem to manufacture runs at all.

Pulse pitching works but too good most of the time. I can paint whenever I want to. I might lower consistency 1 notch and go from there.

                    Great slider set TNK
Try turning off ALL the aids, including the pitching marker... Once I turned this from "fade" to "none"... Pulse pitching has been allot tougher :0

These slider are really an excellent set and great starting point, excellent work TNJ! Below are my modifications for my style of play, let me know you alls thoughts.

-Couldnt hit or give up hits so....
lower pitch speed slider all the way down to 1.
computer contact and solid +1 from slider set.

                      -Fielding errors +1 from set.
-Human pitching const and accuracy down 1 using pulse, makes it tougher.

I use timing and default camera hitting. For pitching I just changed to the over the shoulder of the pitcher. For some reason it seems to make pitching easier, maybe I just hit my spots better?? Any thoughts on this? Its been just a few games so probably juz coincedence. Stealing bases does seem to be a tad easy too, for me both and comp.

Getting great, realistic results! Thanks for the work all

I used these instructions for the camera but I left the camera dead center so the plate is in the middle of my screen.... And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! My offense is much better with this view!
Dead center, eh? I think I will give that a go because since changed to the cam, I am hackIng a bit. I'll square up the cam to see if I can increase my patience a bit

Here are a couple of minor adjustments that I've made.

human contact to 6 (seeing pci closer to pitch more often, seeing better overall contact using timing only hitting)
fielder run speed to 2 (seeing players make to many sure hits an out)
pitch speed to 5 (personal preference)

still playing more games to get a better feel for everything and these are my adjustments just from what I've seen.

Game #2 of my Reds Franchise to hold me over til OSFM when I start my real franchise with Boston

Much more offense in this game after the extra innings pitchers duel in Game #1

human contact to 6 (seeing pci closer to pitch more often, seeing better overall contact using timing only hitting)
fielder run speed to 2 (seeing players make to many sure hits an out)
pitch speed to 5 (personal preference)

still playing more games to get a better feel for everything and these are my adjustments just from what I've seen.
yes, i started upping human contact to 6 tonight and will keep it there until otherwise. came here to report my observation. i did the same thing last yr.
