TNK, I've see others lower fielder run speed all the way to zero and was curious if you feel a need to potentially go lower than your current setting? fielder run speed and fielder reaction is getting the greatest attention out of me as of right now and I will be playing around with lower settings to hopefully see less insane diving catches that I'm seeing right now.

I think I finally have the CUSTOM CAMERA perfected - I am seeing the ball very well with this angle. It would be awesome if next year they could add Custom Cameras to the Vault so you could export your camera angle and share it with others.
Here is what I am using - I sggest starting a game (BOSTON @ CHICAGO WHITE SOX) and putting Clay Buchholz on the hill and set Gordon Beckham to leadoff for Chicago.
Start from the Catcher Classic cam. Things you need to look at and try to match up your screen with the photo:
* Bottom of the batters box - you should see a tiny bit of brown dirt below the batters box
* Top of Buchholz head should be midway up the first set of shrubs in CF
* Umpires head should be just at the top of the CF wall
* Ellsbury should be right between the ump and BuchholzAttached FilesComment

Game 2 in my Phillies test franchise was another win! 5-1 over the Pirates. Laynce Nix is on fire through the first two games of the season. He is 5-8 with 2 home runs, 2 doubles, and 4 RBI for a .625 avg. Really can't wait for OSFM to come out!

Re: TNK - 2012 Realism Sliders Thread
I'm having a very difficult time getting the same camera as you have shown above. The "Catcher Classic" camera doesn't pan out as wide on my television as it does on yours.. are you sure you didn't use "catcher" camera because that looks like it has about the same width as yours.Comment

* Zoomed out using R2/L2
* Raised / Lowered using the "L" joystick
* Angle Tilted up/down using the right joystickComment

For what it's worth - I find the hitting to be better on zone, you control where the PCI is and you make better contact and get better variety of balls hit (bloopers, choppers, etc.)Comment

Re: TNK - 2012 Realism Sliders Thread
Finally managed to copy your camera settings. Wasnt have too much trouble hitting but tried it anyway.
Just won a game 20-7 against the Twins at Camden yards using the O's.
I had 19 hits to 10.
Twins had 3 HR's to my 6. One of which was a grand slam.
I scored 10 runs in the 8th and had a bat around.
Im hoping it was just coincidence changing the camera. I have the Yanks next up so will see what happens.
Before the change I had 17 hits over two games both of which were losses using the same teamsComment

2nd game with new camera.
Orioles (me) against Yanks
8-3 to the yanks. They had 11 hits to my 6.
5 walks to my 3.
Real good game They exploded in the 6th and 7th scoring 8 runs. I was leading 1-0 up to that point, probably kept Hammel in a bit too long.Comment

Re: TNK - 2012 Realism Sliders Thread
Pared mentioned this in another thread...
If all your hits are singles or HR's, you may want to lessen the pitch speed. Your timing probably isn't as solid as it should be. HR's typically come from perfect placement. They are also more prone to happen to a tired pitcher.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: TNK - 2012 Realism Sliders Thread
Just curious to all those using these sliders, what is your team BA and where do you rank in the league in runs scored? This only pertains to those that have not tweaked the batting sliders from page one.
I will start. I am batting a horrendous.220, worst in the league and my runs scored is around 24th or so.Comment

Re: TNK - 2012 Realism Sliders Thread
TNK... What are your thoughts on moving SOLID HITS to 4?
Because if I remember correctly solid hits went from Default (5) down to 3... I think maybe that will help everyone out with their offenses being better.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment
