Yeah? And how do you know that?
A simple/little change in the impact physics makes a trajectories instantly eg. flatter. Or they simply went back to the 16 version. So I don't know what are you talking about.

Anyway my opinion that after the patch the game is simply flat.

Let's say they somehow they "simply went back to the 16 version." Completely ignoring how difficult that would be, what good would that do them? People are in love with the new ball physics so it would make no sense at all for them to get rid of it as a half-assed attempt to remedy the HR numbers.

It's a moot point anyway considering most people aren't seeing this at all. If it's acting weird in your game, then that kinds sucks. Hope you start experiencing pre-patch ball physics again for the sake of your enjoyment.

Im new to sliders community, so i only have to download and Apply the sliders to have this gameplay? Or i have to mannually change something?

Welcome, when you start the game up and you are on the main screen, go to the data section and when you press X youll see something that says my sliders, click on that and click modify. input all of the A&S sliders as posted on the OP and save them

Once you start your franchise you will see a similar button, click on sliders and press load. then load the A&S sliders and you are done. hope this helps... i am not by the game to give too much more detail

Quick Manage/Sim Game Slider Set update!


Quick Manage/Sim game sliders have now been updated properly.


The only difference's between the QM/Sim set and the gameplay set are the following:


Starting pitching Stamina for both the CPU and Hum are at default 5
The injury Slider is at default 5

You must manually adjust the Trade Slider in this set like the gameplay set per the settings on a month by month basis for simulation like trade activity throughout the season.

Patch 1.05 is a success. Things I noticed right away were:

1) The sound of the ball off the bat is now dynamic again and that beautiful sweet "Swat" sound when you groove a pitch is now back!!! When you hit a nubber or a weak grounds or fly ball.....you know. When you smoke a pitch you now hear it again. Thank you SDS for noticing this right away and fixing it.

2) Bunting is better. I was not having too many issues before. But I saw a noticeable difference from the previous update and out of the box. The ball does not rocket off the bat nearly at the clip it was before. But please remember. Bunting is dependent on various factors.

1) Player quirks
2) Bunt ratings
3) Type of pitch you bunt

Success is not guaranteed nor should it be. Most pitchers stink at bunting and hitting in general. So a sac by your pitcher should not be automatic. But at least the bunts are not flying off the bat at the level they were before.

Great bunters should see an uptick in bunt success as well.


The game still has some minor but noticeable OSD (On Screen Display) bugs in terms of divisional standings (wrong teams being displayed for said division) and also when they show a pitchers OSD and comment on how many walks they give up.....they are incorrectly being displayed as K's. Officially they are being scored as walks so not to worry. But the OSD is wrong.


Again......there is a minor issue with balls in the dirt and the catchers slower reaction to it. But I have not seen it as excessive. Also be mindful of situation, your pitchers stuff etc to avoid wild pitches. I don't cheese it either when the CPU has a dirt ball and it is very close to the catcher. I just sit tight. But if it is a true wild pitch/passed ball by all means take the base.

Everything always comes down to how you play and approach this game. Everyone has their own quirks, skill level etc.

Enjoy this game because IMO it is clearly the best Sports game every in the genre. Just simply amazing. The ball physics are truly mind blowing and the new fielding animations and humanity AI that goes with it......new level stuff. I can never go back to a previous version of this game with just those two new additions.

This is next gen console baseball.

Might want to reexamine that outfielder error slider. I just had 2 in one inning. A single to left rolled right through Gardner's legs allowing the batter to get all the way to third. 2 batters later a fly ball to right that I had lined up to catch and throw home was completely missed by Judge. Ended up leading to a 3 run inning. Not sure if the errors were tweaked for this patch but I know I hadn't seen anything like this until now.

True. Those errors totally unraveled Pineda too. I was winning 2-0 and he hadn't given up a hit in 3 innings until that single and error leading off the 4th. It is now the bottom of the 5th and I'm losing 7-2 and he's out of the game. This game is just too good.

I blew a save because of a botched double play. The CPU had runners on 1st and 3rd in the 9th inning with 1 out and I had a 1 run lead and they hit a ground ball and the 2nd basemen air mailed it to 1st and brought in the tying run. What a way to blow the save but that is baseball.

Just finished my first game with this sliders, i beat the Yankees with the rays 4-1, the game feels really really good, my unique concern is the cpu offense but i know the Sample is tiny, im going to finish the rest of the series and see the results

With the variety we have seen, I would recommend a bare minimum 20 game sample size before worrying about statistical trends.

Armor thanks for the slider set, i've been enjoying it the past week.
As you say this game is trully great. Im not only new to the show but to the sport itself. It was this game that nudged me towards following the MLB.
