5 is perfect for sim purposes. 8 is far too many injuries once the year goes on.

I'm a littel afraid of giving advantages or disadvantages to the human or CPU. I'm not a slider guru so I don't know a lot of what needs to be done to balance the game out.

LOL...well, if this were Madden, I would be 150% behind you. The Show....different animal....there is far less of the balacing act needed between User and CPU sliders (i.e. changing a user slider doesn't affect how the CPU slider responds like it does in Madden). I see sliders in The Show as being an exercise in defining 'what setting yields the most reasonable/realistic outcomes' rather than 'biasing' them towards the User or CPU.

I will say this about a couple of the 'offset' values....
1. I have been using User SP stamina at 7. I throw a ton of pitches....that is my style. Maybe I 'nibble' too much on the corners...but it is just how I approach pitching. I've had very good success with this in getting realistic total innings from my SPs and pitch/inning with this approach. Very much personal preference.
2. Raising user contact to 6....I tried this on a couple of different occassions. To be honest....it didn't work well for me...because the contact was higher, I started making extremely weak contact on a lot of balls that, in reality, my guy probably should not have been able to get wood on. It just ballooned from there, decreasing pitch counts due to shorter ABs, and so on.....

Another question I have is....... Is there a setting where the CPU will warm relievers up in the bullpen and sub players in a game?

What setting do I fool around with for the CPU to warm up a reliever when needed and sub them in

There is no setting... unless you are talking about cpu hook slider... i assume you are new to the series?

So through 4 games ive hit 14 hrs. I have everything set up exactly. I feel like this is a lot considering ive only had 1 other extra base hit which was a double.

Every solid hit leaves the park. Hanley Ramirez has 5hr. Im just confused as to why no one else is seeing this amount of hrs.

A lot of us don't go crazy over a few games we just continue to play and things all even out. And than others are always changing sliders and never enjoy the journey of a 162 game season.

I never use the power swing, its always contact. I hear ya tho on giving it time. Just curious what others are seeing.

I hit 3, 2 , 7 , 2 in each game. Im more worried about only seeing 1 double in 4 games.

No, you have to do that yourself. Just press UP on the D-pad at any time to access the bullpen menu.

This was me the other day but I finally convinced myself to stop. Every slider I questioned and changed I put back to where they were previously and that's where they're staying. I gave up 6 homers in one game but only 1 in the next 3 games combined. Trust the sliders. They'll all even out.
