I wish I had that problem. Im playing with Armors 4-5-3. The cpu pitcher leaves NOTHING over the middle. Ive never seen so many black pitches in my life. I will start snapshoting them. It is crazy how the cpu hits the edges.

Haven't gone and looked back at pages and pages of posts, but are these sliders all the same for playing on HOF level or are there some tweaks when going higher than AS. Thanks!

Considering those were my only HR's in three games... and they were all hit by guys with pop... It was awesome, not overkill.

So simply turn down your injury slider on your slider set if you plan to QM a game and whenever you sim any games on the calendar and if you employ 30 team control (which I highly suggest) make sure before you sim the day's scheduled games to turn that injury slider down to 5. After you complete your game....before you advance the day again turn down the injury slider to 5 because sometimes your minor league games have yet to be played.

Also let's say you are in a QM game and want to jump in. When you do...turn that injury slider back to 8 so you have a chance at in-game injuries like we tested in real games. Injury slider at 8 during games you play gives you the nice random chance at a player injury.
Armor I cant remember if u covered this or not but how do u think these will play with the osfm hybrid scheduled to release this weekend....I can't remember how ur set played last year with hybrid

Tried my first game with the CPU pitching sliders at 5-5-5 for the hell of it and Tyler Skaggs turned in a exceptional performance for the Angels. He only went 5 innings thanks to working the count and getting him into deep AB's (99 pitches) but he only gave up 1 run on 5 hits, 6 K's and 1 BB. For the first time this whole season I managed to strike out 10+ times (12) yet I still managed to get 10 hits in the game in route to a 6-2 loss as I couldn't get any big hits when I would get runners on. The CPU managed to hit 4 HR's which was also a first, I'll chalk it up as a fluke as nothing was changed other then the CPU pitching sliders and at least 2 of those were from Pujols and Trout. For anyone worried about the CPU pounding the strike zone with strike frequency at 5 it didn't really happen, Tyler Skaggs had a 65% strike rate so was still reasonable and mix in the fact that Skaggs is having a nice season as evidenced by his 2.70 ERA it stands to reason that he pitched against me like he had in CPU games prior.

For anyone, like myself, that was murdering CPU pitching at times I encourage you to at least try a 5-5-5 setup as it wasn't bad and honestly if I could hit in Seattle when the sun is out I'd probably have done better but the backdrop makes it tough to see until the sun goes down.

Good stuff, Chef. I think the key is to keep control and k frequency at default and then move consistency between 3 and 5 de
pending on your comfort level. I have used 3 and 4 and I think I am going to settle on 4. I am pitching on HOF....Default CPU sliders and my pitching at 3,3. It plays an awesome brand and of baseball with the rest I can armors sliders.

He's said that no adjustments are typically needed for hybrid rosters.

Yeah it wasn't bad, I had to save my second game and finish it later but I was getting destroyed by LA again, Paxton gassed and Scribner came in and just poured gas all over the fire so what was a 1-1 game turned into a 6-1 deficit. I still haven't hit a single double which is kinda weird, had no issues until I changed the CPU pitching sliders to 5-5-5 so not sure if it's a by product of their better control or I'm just in one of those funks that will pass. My only run came on another HR though, Motter hit one to dead center and other then that it's singles and nothing else again.

I will say the backdrop in Seattle is absolutely horrific when the sun is out. For about the first 5 innings I literally can't see the pitch until it's damn near at the plate which makes it impossible to read anything thus my strike out numbers ballooning suddenly. There isn't a way to change the time of day a game starts at is there? I might have to change my camera for the first 5 innings if I can't figure something out.

I played almost a full year with the 2016 Hybrid and Armors 2016 Final Sliders without any changes. They worked very, very well together. I'm looking forward to matching up the 2017 Hybrid with Armor and the crews latest set which has the game playing better than ever! Even my holy grail of not surrendering enough walks has been addressed. Thanks to Armor and everyone involved. It's been a great thread this year.

Well damn, I've been punched in the mouth and lost 6 of my last 7 games dropping my record to 17-13. The doubles have all but vanished and now all I hit are singles or HR's similar to what another poster mentioned previously in this thread. I'm using your sliders exactly minus wind being down to 3 and the CPU pitching sliders being 4-5-5 instead of 4-5-3. I'm hitting .264 as a team on that setup and everything looks solid outside of the complete lack of doubles (5.4% of my hits are doubles where as in MLB the average is 19.5%) and wild pitches being insanely high.

I'll stream my next game later today so anyone curious can pop in and see what I'm talking about with regards to wild pitches, although King Felix will be on the mound so wont be as drastic as it was tonight with Chris Heston out there.

I'll be interested to see end-of-the-year totals when people finish a year in franchise. As I've stated before the high home run totals coupled with the lack of doubles has remained my biggest problem this year. However, I always look at my stats compared to where they fall in my "realm of believability."

As of right now Schwarber is on pace for 67 home runs, Rizzo, 51, and Bryant 39. All of those (even though Schwarber's is a stretch), are at least believable.

Additionally, I'd be surprised if he continues his pace, but maybe he will. Who knows? I may turn my power down a notch, but again, I'd rather live with a little higher home run totals with more doubles than I would more realistic home runs but no doubles.

Where do you guys stand in total home runs in your franchises as well as doubles?
