No offense its your game and you can play as you want. if you have to micromanage every bit of the game, including managing the other team's bullpen to me that is not fun. It is a video game and should be a diversion from reality, not a carbon copy of it. Then again, I relish having a few spare hours out of my day to play a game.

Very small and I mean tiny sample size here, but 2 games using these have produced:
8-3 win over the A's, I hit back to back dingers, rack up 12 hits... Maybin goes 3-4 and Trout trots out a pair of doubles.
Next game its 2 zip A's thru the 6th in a relative pitchers duel. I turn it over to the 'pen, Oakland start clubbing and bring in 10 more runs as im held scoreless on 2 hits. 12-0 loss.
I dont think I could find 2 wildly opposing games if I tried! As I say its a small taster, but its been fun.

I dunno if it was just a freakish night or something difference or if the patch has actually changed something but have had 3 games in a row with low scoring games where runs have not been scored till the 8th innings. I hope it's just the sliders making it a massive variety, but I had finally a 1-0 game where I didn't score till the top of the 9th to win with the Braves against mets. (I try to play every game in franchise to get a feel of stadiums teams etc) finally the pitchers went 7 innings but it may have only because it was low scoring games too.Comment

Yep and that is the way it should be variety hot and cold, it's baseball, sometimes if I have a cold run I will think to myself do I need to put contact up>? or if I have a hot streak of offence should I change that??? but really you shouldn't it's baseball and it happens and averages all out in the end. I believe the sliders don't really need much change unless a patch comes out in the future and changes things.
The only thing I might be seeing to much is wild pitches by the CPUComment

I have played and streamed over 3 dozen games in franchise using current rosters, classic rosters and everything in between.
Those that have been on the streams with me have seen that playing full counts (not quick counts or quick managing games and jumping in) every pitch, every AB and inning using the OP sliders have not seen this issue.
The logic has been pretty much sound and in fact much improved from years past.
Again I am not going to discuss this in this thread from this point on. It has been a non issue for me personally. Like....zero. The sliders are giving me fantastic pitching results.
I can not answer about quick counts. I have not played with them and have zero desire too. For those that use them I am sure they are testing it and will have a fix because it is overwhelmingly a real issue with quick counts. Something is wrong under the hood there.
But after 45 plus franchise games, I have experienced nothing but fantastic games, and simulation like results playing the traditional way of every pitch, every AB.
All my streams are archived. I encourage you to watch them....pick any of them. It does not matter. It’s pretty much all there on video. Concrete and undeniable.
Anyway. The sliders are rocking and the game is fantastic.

Through 10 games in my Yankees franchise I'm 7-3 but not getting the most realistic results. Hitting .199 as a team but an ERA of 2.15 is what's gotten these wins.
I know a streak like this would be a lot less glaring if it came in June rather than the first 10 so I'm not worried a bit, especially after seeing the magic of these sliders through 25 play now games while waiting for OSFM.

This is just a personal guess as I have no real way of knowing, but I believe this may be a result of the AI incorrectly calculating pitch counts. Because of the way quick counts works–taking away pitches from the pitchers overall total as if they never happened–I believe the AI is using the wrong pitch count number when pulling pitchers. The main reason I think this is because if you ever have a SP as player of the game, and you pulled him after 7 innings at, say, 105 pitches, in the loading screen after the game it will show his stat line as having something like 143 pitches. This total is [I think] including the pitches that were taken off of the score graphic thing (?) on the broadcast as well as the pause menu.
**For those who aren't familiar with quick counts and are confused by pitches "vanishing" :
Say you are given a 2-1 count and then on the next (4th) pitch you get him out. Next batter you are given a 1-1 count. 4 pitches to the first batter plus 2 to the current equals 6 pitches right? Wrong. Your pitch count is really 6 but it is shown as 5 on the score graphic and the pause menu. This happens with every batter throughout the game and after 9 innings and over 30 batters and you have a huge gap, with the higher (real) number being what the AI is using to remove pitchers.

Sliders are giving AMAZING results for me! Padres franchise and we are last in the NL West to nobody's surprise but have promising things to look forward to! Wil Myers was off to an abysmal start in April hitting around .198 with 10 RBI's 3 HR in May he has taken a complete 180 hitting .314 raking at the plate with 12 HR's and 40+ RBI's on the season.
The hit variety is so uplifting (I've seen soft bloops land for hits, hard hit balls to the outfield balls hit deep into the hole at short, etc) and I think fielder speed adjust has been that perfect touch plus my Rookie outfielder Manuel Margot and Travis Jankowski are still making amazing Web Gems when the opportunity is right.
Huge kudos to you Amor.. I have never played with classic pitching nor directional hitting (always been a pure analog / zone guy and still do online) but am having an absolute blast playing with these sliders!
Just keep playing guys if you are struggling or experiencing issues I can guarantee over the course of a 162 game season it will even itself out!Comment

Played a marathon 20 inning game. My hitting/pitch selection is horrid. I struck out 32 TIMES!!! while striking out the other team 19 times. Now if I break it down to 2 games it is about 16/9.5 K's. If I up the timing or contact up 1 notch would that throw anything off? Everything else is awesome.
Brief description of game. Joey Votto cranked a solo HR in the 2nd, Gave up a 2-run homerun to Luis Valbuena in the bottom of the frame I scored again in the 8th to tie it up 2-2. Stayed that way till the 20th where I gave up a walkoff HR. Bullpen was lights out and probably killed it the rest of the series.
On a side note...The bottom of the ninth, the CPU had runners on first and third (1 out) and decides to attempt...a double steal?? It wasn't even a hit and run as the batter took the pitch. I thought it was a tad odd, maybe I am thinking about it too much (lol). Since I having internet and computer issues here are the small but vital important tweaks to the OP
Also make these tweaks to the quick manage set.
I will be updating the OP ASAP once I get through the internet and laptop issues I have.
Also please ignore the slider set I uploaded to the vault. I will be uploading 2.5 and Quick Manage 2.5 ASAP.
Make the following tweaks to 2.0
Fielder speed down to 3 (from 4)
Steal frequency down to default 5 (from 6)
Hit variety and OF ratings really shine with fielder speed at 3
Easy SB's from blocked balls in the dirt greatly curtailed with the combination of baserunner speed at 3 and steal frequency at default 5
Also I know there are some errors on the quick manage set.
Quick manage should be exactly the same as 2.5 except starter stamina at 5 and injuries at 5
