Saw a lot of hits, a lot of hit variety. Blooper, soft liners, hard liners, high pop ups, foul ball down the line that nobody could reach, homers, triple, doubles. Almost hit the cycle with Puig. Hit 5 homers off the giants, 3 in the 5th off Baumgartner.

so I finally moved to classic with vibration off and damn so much better. Started my Mariners chise and it's going great so far. 3-2. every stat is in line with realism except for homeruns. I have 13 in 5 games but that should go down. Mainly, Nellie is on a tear. Scores have been varied thus far. 9-0, 10-5, 1-9, 5-6, 3-1. Great job with these. the classic with vibration off fixed my only complaints that I have.

Just loaded up your sliders and played my first game of 162 in franchise mode. 1st inning Trumbo takes Sanchez deep 1-0. Next inning Martin goes deep off of Gausman. Bases loaded in the 3rd with 1 out and Sanchez gets out of it with only 1 run allowed. Nothing much until the 6th when Pearce hits a 3-run bomb 4-2 Toronto. Bautista would add an RBI single scoring Pillar after a Carrera bunt earlier. Biagini allows jones to hit a 2 run shot cutting it to 5-4.

In the 9th, Grili in for the injured Osuna. Gets machado to K, walks Jones, trumbo gets a base hit and Davis goes yard opposite field for the walk off. What a crazy game 1 of the season.

Gotta say theses sliders are perfect now, if you excuse the fact that the CPU pulls pitchers in the 5th innings in 1 run close games, which ruins games they work beautiful and I get a variety of games.

I find if I use the old move the controller to CPU and back after every at bat it stops the dumb CPU from pulling starting pitchers early, and you get even better games with the sliders, you then you can manage the CPU BP and moves that way. (annoying but the only fix for now)

Aces feel like Aces, they are awesome.

Just wanted to say thank you Armor for the great sliders. Every game has been different so far. I've blown some teams out, have gotten blown out by the computer, and have had some 1 run games. Does anyone have any tips on hitting change ups? This pitch has been giving me problems for a while now. I always seem to be either early or very early on my swing.

try changing the Changeup speed, most people will say it is user preference but I am of the argument it actually effects the sliders and gameplay as far as strikeouts and walks go.

I went back to power and solid hits to 5 and have got little more offense that I was looking for still see different hit varieties. So if your looking for a little more offense try it out.

A&S do you use the right stick to influence hits. I have found this is where my homer problem seems to be coming from. It helps me focus on a certain part of the zone when I'm looking for a pitch. I always set to pull unless I'm trying to avoid double play or get a runner in, the I press up. If it's same side match up and the batter has poor contact I look to go the other way.

That said I stopped doing it except to avoid a double play and noticed that the homer total really fell. Scoring planets of runs without hitting homers. Lots of doubles.

This could be why I have never really had a home run problem. I rarely move the stick except situations and I score runs in a variety of different ways. Now I have went on some home run tears I hit 10 in 2 games once but it seems to even itself out. I have had multiple games where no homers were hit and games where the ball is flying. To me a really good realistic variety. I have a good sample size also I am now over 40 games played with these sliders.

I know there is a definite problem with pulling pitchers early as it is well documented. Honestly though I haven't really seen it much. I have seen a couple of times the starter was pulled after 6 when I thought he could go further but for the most part it's been pretty realistic for me. Either their pitch count is elevated or they start losing their command.

I have only seen the starter pulled in the 5th inning one time and it was because I was lighting him up. A game I played last night I got dominated for 8 innings by the starter. He was up to 92 pitches after 8. I thought he might go for a complete game but his spot in the order came up and they pinch hit for him. For me I have seen starters go 6,7,8 innings. I have yet to see one get a complete game though or even start the ninth. I do throw every pitch I don't use QC.

It may need a little tweaking for situation but I checked yesterday's MLB box scores and out of the 24 starters only 4 pitched 7 innings. Not one even started the 8th inning. Only 4 others even started the 7th inning. So basically 8 out of 24 starters pitched more than 6 innings yesterday IRL.

I haven't seen the pitcher issue much either. I'm using the digital version if that matters. I had a CPU pitcher throw a CG against me, and had one pitch through 7 innings with a decently high pitch count.

I've played 3 franchise games (started over with 1.5 OSFM rosters and 2.5 A&S sliders.)

I'm still playing as the Reds, and unfortunately I was swept in the Opening Series.

I also switched to Timed/Directional hitting from zone, since that's what the sliders want. I have been having a tough time so far offensively. I can handle not hitting .468 with every batter, that's not a problem. And really, I can handle struggling at the plate, adjusting my approach and trying to get better.

The one small issue I've had so far (and again, it's only 3 games so it's a small sample size) is that I have trouble hitting homers. I've had 1 in 3 games, and it was in the bottom of the 9th in game 3. I haven't had any balls even really reach the warning track. Again, nothing that I'm too concerned about yet since it's a small sample size so far.

Keep grinding! In my last 2 games I have not hit a homer. The two before that I hit 2 in one game and 4 in the next one 3 with the same player. I'm now on my 45th game with these sliders and have seen hot and cold streaks with the long ball multiple times. I have hit as many as 6 in one game so far. Trust..

Most definitely! I think some small changes in my approach will help me out.

As far as actual gameplay/etc go, it's been awesome! I think the sliders are about darn near perfect, at least for me. I'm excited to get some more games in and see where I end up. As I play more, I'll post in here and let you know the results that I'm seeing.

I'm not great at hitting so I tried decreasing the pitch speed and used Dynamic Difficulty. I wasn't having much luck so I switch backed to the default pitch speed and All-Star hitting and wow! The hits felt so much more natural. I still truck out a ton but I got 9 hits in my first game.
