Yes. And, more dramatic when the slider is raised...

Updated a few sliders as we await the release of OSFM in about 4 hours. We're ready to start out franchises', folks. Monitor your results and track with actual data. Report back to this thread, and we can help you adjust if you're seeing anything out of line (check top of first post).

Now the question for me is, which of the two MLB teams who don't currently have someone with the general manager title do I go with? Boston or Miami?

What all did you change? Was one of them reliever stamina to 5? Why the change back to default?

For the AI, yes, but only during played games. I didn't see it having an impact on them using matchups more. With an eventual patch forthcoming, I thought it would be helpful to continue to monitor this behavior as close to default as possible as it plays fine still.

For simming, however, that's a different story. You MUST adjust starter/reliever stamina and manager hook (see post 1).

Ah ok. I know the bullpen logic of the AI is sometimes iffy. But I didn't know if the stamina made them pull them sooner or not.

I was hoping to see more 1:1 matchups where the AI would bring a guy in for just one batter, but even with the improvements to bullpen logic, it's not quite there. Then again, maybe we'll see more of it later in the season if the game happens to actually evaluate stats more?

As in MLB, you don't see as many of these in the regular season as you do the playoffs.

Hey Mike is there any way to have realistic innings for RP because they get to many innings. A lot of RP get over 90+ innings when know one had over 89 innings in 2016.

Yes. Sim the AI games using the sliders in the first post. You should only see a LR pitching that many innings, and that's just a flaw in the sim engine we can't fix unless we get it patched.

Hot zones, they're there no matter what, correct? I usually play with them off. Just curious if it's just a cosmetic thing. I don't think so, but I'm not sure...

Yes, turning off just turns off the visual for it. As far as how much of an impact a hot/cold zone has, I'm not entirely sure, but it does seem to have a function.

I try and look for a hitter's hot zone--something to hit well in that zone(s). Perhaps that's why I'm seeing a bit more offense than some others? I feast on mistakes in this game.

Because of the way in which this set has you adjust AI pitcher sliders in-game vs sim, I don't upload them to the vault. I think folks were seeing the sliders thinking they were static, and then getting pissed ha.
