Greg Bird Explodes, Propels Yankees Into Deciding Game 5 at Houston!!!

2018 (year 2) MLB Post Season MVP Greg Bird, awoke from his 3 game slumber and crushed not one but two HR’s. Both of them were 2R shots to help propel the Yankees to a 5-0 game four win. SP Justin Verlander was brilliant through 8 innings of shutout ball but left in the top of the 9th with an apparent arm injury that at the time was thought to be very serious. However X-Rays were negative and he will not miss any time. The Yankees breathed a collective sigh of relief.

Miguel Andujar hit two doubles and also drove in a run in the winning effort.

All hands on deck as both teams will bring out their #1 starters on short rest.

Severino vs DeGrom in game 5 at Houston. The winner will face the winner of the Indians and Red Sox who are playing a game 5 in Cleveland!

The Nationals are in the NLCS vs The Dodgers who are the defending 2 time National League champs.

Man I checked out the replay this morning. What a big win. Verlander was dealing its awesome to see your ace step up when needed. I hope you keep the momentum rolling and take game 5.

I had a guy get injured and taken out of the game the other day but after the game he wasn't injured at all. I thought it was a bug.

Wow I Just hit a home run with Richard Urena who only has 28 power using x normal swing which was very nice to see. It's funny cus I definitely notice hitting more homers with X when not trying , but when I actually try with power swing I rarely ever do .

I never use the square button to swing. Most of my HR's come from hitting up and x, but I've hit a few by simply hitting x or circle.

I too never use the square button. I will use O on occasion, but not often.

Yeah after struggling with hitting homers with power swing square , I'm just gonna stick with X.

I will be streaming the off season in due time. The Astros are in a game 7 winner take all vs the Dodgers in the world series and I am tempted to play that game as the Astros just for the **** of it.

Same here. I use it only in really good hitter’s counts and not in a close game when I’m behind.
