I noticed on the first page, for the slider settings, that there is something called "stride difficulty". What is that? It is right below human timing, on Armor's sliders, but I don't think that I ever saw this before, and it is not in the game. I double checked in the game to see if there was a setting called "slide", in case stride was a typo, but I did not see anything.
I was just curious.

That's for analog hitting where you actually control the stride and swing of the bat.

That’s an excellent list and not a lot I’d argue with. Status-Pro to me is still my #1 go-to historical roster. Boston Rob’s decade team sets are phenomenal too. To me, so much of it is player models/attributes, and those 2 guys nail it.

It would be great if there was a way to make 13 pitchers work. CPU’s pen gets a little “taxed” with only 7 guys in the pen. Just played a 4-game series and 3 relievers pitched in all 4 games and were pretty gassed for the 4th game

It would be great if there was a way to make 13 pitchers work. CPU’s pen gets a little “taxed” with only 7 guys in the pen. Just played a 4-game series and 3 relievers pitched in all 4 games and were pretty gassed for the 4th game

You can have 13 pitchers. The cpu will just bring up the next highest rated. However they will still for the most part just use the same 3 relievers for the most part.

I finally got tired of managing all 30 teams bullpens. I decided, it is what it is. They will use SP as relievers to get the innings they need for a season. Someone gets injured they call up a pitcher regardless of need. So, Im just enjoying my games and the cpu can run how it wants.

I don’t have nearly the OCD some may do about statistics etc. What can I do….is what it is.

I do still put guys with 40 or leas stamina in the LRP slots…..still observing if that helps a little.

Yes. Im still doing 30T as well. I just decided I wasnt going to micro manage as much anymore. As you said, bad logic....... I'll still go through ad fix issues here and there, but Im going to let the cpu roll and (out of curiosity) see what it looks like at the end of season.
Im not a stats guy per say and dont have to mirror real life. I want good gameplay over all else. You cant play this game that way. You (gamers) should be looking to be within realm of MLBTS stats, not MLB stats. Game is far more enjoyable that way. The programming will make the stats play out.

That too is hardcoded. Ive heard others lower staminas to zero when simming cpu games. It doesnt fix it, but it lessens it I guess. Never tried it. Its just one of those hard coded things.

So switching to 12 pitchers doesn’t “fix” the bad logic?

I've been sim'ing with both HUM and CPU SP staminas @ 2, with hook @ 10. I've liked what I've seen from that.

Does using only 12 pitchers NOT “fix” the bad logic problem? I read several “theories” about how 13 pitchers doesn’t work (SU slot #2 is broken, etc).

I would prefer using 13 pitchers if it’s “ok”

I use 30-team control and go through each team to set rotations/lineups.

I have a fairly strong opinion that trying to “manipulate” AI bullpen usage is futile.

Yeah, maybe some tweaking can be done, but not enough to see enough of a difference and overcome the hard code put in place by the devs.

Does it suck, yup…sure does. Just have to live with it and not be OCD about sim stats or AI BP usage…..believe me, I way way to OCD with this game, so I am really just talking to myself.

And yes…..SU #2 slot has been “broken” for years.
