Sounds like you had an amazing game man!

Idk about the pitching, this is the first year I’ve committed to it and I have been getting shelled as well. I’ve had to do a lot of research on it to see if I was doing something wrong and some of it has helped.

If anyone knows or feels anything similar, let’s have a discussion!

One of my tips would be to learn to pitch without the vibration on if you are not. Reason being is once you feel it you will most likely stop moving the left stick meaning most of your pitches will either be in the strike zone or on the edge of it. It is ok to throw balls and in fact I encourage you to throw more pitches out of the zone. I feel like with vibration on it is more of a hinderance than an aide. I struggled at first also but once you get used to it it is so rewarding. Good luck !

Also, set hitters up. Pitch inside then out, change speeds and eye levels. Also like someone else said earlier you have to learn each pitchers release point. Not sure if it makes a difference but I always let my pitcher come set before I start his windup also

Big time Tigers fan here too. Born and raised in Michigan! We’re scuffling at the plate in real life so hopefully it doesn’t translate over to the game!

Me too! Grew up in Detroit, live in Phoenix now. Let’s hope they snap out of it, was nice to see a couple Tork-Bombs the last few games [emoji123][emoji123] and Miggy with a 3 hit night!

This slider set is stupid. Complete luck-based pitching on the user's end which requires 0 skill at all. AI gets almost 20 hits per game because an 85 overall pitcher cant locate a pitch properly. I'd rather go out and actually try to hit a 90 MPH pitch than use this horrible set again.

Because it's a luck based slider set. 0 skill is required to pitch as all you do is just press a button and hope it goes where you want it to.

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.

We are off and running with Yankees Year 1 and I will get the Franchise news wire going as promised later today with game stories from our first 2 series on the road in the Lone Star State vs the Rangers and Astros!

This far V1.5 has been amazing for me and I feel strongly we have a rock solid base set here for all of you to work off of and personalize to your taste/skill level.

I also want to thank many of you for the valuable and objective feedback which helps tremendously form a good sample size for me in addition to my own game testing.

A shout out to RaiderRen who also did a lot of initial testing and gave me some nice ideas about where the game was feeling for him. We have a lot on common with sports gaming and his assistance has been invaluable for this years game.

As always…..have fun, use the thread to talk about ways we can enhance our franchise and game experience and also share stories of our thrilling wins and heartbreaking defeats!!!

Look out for a detailed Yankees News Wire Year 1 update later this afternoon I will post here when it is updated.
