Not sure if I messed something up in my setup or if it’s a bug, but I’m running a 30 team control franchise following the instructions on the first post. I have trades set to manual for my team in my preset, and then trades automatic in the preset I assigned for the rest of the teams. I advanced to the next day about a week into my season and all of a sudden my team made a trade with one of the CPU teams that I didn’t initiate. Has anyone else run into this before?

Question on the manager hook. In the increase to 10 when a reliever comes in to prevent the computer from basically using one reliever after the starter is pulled? Every game the computer seems to bring in one long reliever after the starter is pulled and keeps them in for 3 or 4 innings and barely uses anyone else. I missed the blurb about increasing the slider. I haven't had a chance to try a game out yet.

Yes essentially. You want the CPU to use bullpens expeditiously, although my preference is slider around 8-9 but 10 is what many feel is great. All relative I suppose to the game you’re in and how the CPU is pitching.

I have been away for a few days. First thing I did was download the latest roster update. I checked to see if it downloaded and noticed Suzuki on the Cubs so I knew it downloaded. I then went to bed

This morning I was going to start my franchise and downloaded “use current rosters” and Suzuki is no longer there.

What happened??

I'm having a similar issue but only an 8 game sample size. I had a similar thing happen when I first started my franchise in '21 also, but it went away eventually and it became a real challenge to pitch.

When you turn on the game, it starts with the default roster, not the latest live one. You have to load the live roster.

Go back to solid hits at 5 for the cpu or lower human control to 4. If you do both, you’ll start to see the cpu offense perk up big time. I’ve actually been toying around with dropping contact back to 5 solid hits to 5 with human control at 4 and consistency at 4 to make pitching more challenging.

The problem I’m starting to see with contact at 6 is the cpu wants to swing at everything in the zone and they’re either constantly fouling it off or making weak contact.

Try those changes out. This game plays so amazing on default HOF so only minor tweaks need to be made

I believe "use current rosters" uses which ever roster is currently loaded in the game. So if you turn the game on and load roster #1 for example to play an exhibition game and then you want to start a franchise with roster #2 you would have to choose "used saved roster" and load it up. I could be totally wrong but that's how I've always understood it.

Very interesting. It’s nice to have a game where you only need to move things up or down by 1. Hard for me to have a ton of feedback as I’m waiting for some of the roster guys to come out with their stuff.

Plenty and sometimes not……baseball.

This game is all about hot and cold streaks.

I do not suggest you deviate from the CPU hitting settings. I got in over a 40 game sample size and it is growing daily.

They will hit you, they will score amd they will beat you.

Again using the exact OP settings:

No ball marker
No vibration
Classic pitching
Directional or timed hitting

Allow your teams to play for a month….at the minimum.

Trust the settings.

Do not raise cpu solid hits…..no no no.

6/5/4 has been absolutely money for me (contact/power/solid hits)

With Human pitching consistency at 4.
