Enjoy!!! I’ve been doing that roster set up for my franchises for years.

I’ve learned to love the process.

Armour, just curious if you are considering any slider adjustments for cpu hitting in v2?

I’ve finally had time to play some games on my new ps5.

With your exact sliders (but pitch speed at 6/6), in my Phillies franchise against the Astros:

win 4-0 (gave up 4 hits)
win 3-0 (gave up 4 hits)
win 4-0 (gave up 6 hits)

Then my first game in my Yankees franchise:

win 6-0 (Cole throws complete game 2-hitter)

Yes, small sample size, but wondering if you think the cpu might need a bit more offense

      Thanks as always

CPU 100% does damage. Timely damage too, one bad pitch in the 9th inning can easily be ball game with these sliders lol.

Does someone mind posting the optimal bullpen setup for CPU teams?

Also, just a cliffs notes version of why this is necessary?

I scoured last few pages but didn’t see..

Basically 12 pitchers total (5 starters, 6 relieves, 1 closer). Don’t put any in LRP, best set up guy goes SU1, Closer is obviously in the CL position. I usually just do MRP1 highest overall and go down from there

This helps in a major way to prevent LRP pitching 2-4 innings of relief. Most pitchers will get 1-1.5 at most out of the bullpen. More true to life.

The CPU is also super dangerous if you use the pitch meter. I just lost 8-6 in the 12th vs da Dodgers.

My cubbies are now 10-21. Great sliders. Bad record. Go Cubbies!

Are you using Directional for hitting and the exact OP Sliders?

Pretty much the same, but pitch speed 3. I may go back up to pitch speed 4. And I haven't changed the pull the pitcher slider to 7 when there are relievers. I might start doing that too. I just beat the dodgers 11 to 7, with 12 hits. Having Javier Baez back is helping too. I could hit **** with Nico Hoerner.

So first, I'm going to increase pitch speed to 4, and go from there. Maybe one day get to 5, but I really suck at 5, with 12 to 15 strikeouts a game. I'm striking out around 8 to 10 with pitch speed at 4 and 3, but now that I'm getting better, I'm probably making solid contact a bit too often.

Well, we are 11-21. Go Cubbies.

Edit:. I just noticed that Armor has the CPU hook staying at 5, with advice for the CPU pitching rotation if you manage all 30 teams, which I do not, since I couldn't figure it out back when I started. Oh well.

Does anyone have a good solution for doing a 30 team control fantasy draft? It's not ideal to have to pick every single player for every team.

A tip for anyone that feels like they are hitting too many hrs or just finding offense too easy, Increase pitch speeds. I have them at 7/7 and I feel like its perfect. Now I have to look for the fastball and adjust to breaking balls. I highly recommend trying this before you mess with power/contact/solid hit settings.

Totally agree with this post. When I was at 5/5 I was cracking them out left and right. Once I went to 6/6 the home runs have settled down. 7/7 is still a little too much for me but one day I might make that move.
