Ha im playing a franchise game right now in rainy conditions and i just hit a foul ball which the fan dropped so Joe Morgan started making fun of her which is a nice touch. You could actually see the replay of it too.

I have a lot i am afraid to post them since so many people are mad but.... I really love the box score results, pitch counts, batter and pitcher interface, ball phyisics, and stuff like i just di last game. They had a lead off single then i walked 2 batters in a row trying to be too fine. Now i am a very very good pitcher in vid baseball games. I allways have been. I dont ever remember walking 2 cpu batters back to back. If i di it was in the old Highheat days. Then Giles stepped up worked the count full and i piped one and he jacked it for a grand slam. I lost 7-1 but i could go on and on. Its a very good game imo. Fielding is the grey area but i am getting it down. I am playing allstar default sliders.
Last game i was up 4-2 vs SD, they came back made it 4-3 and my pen held up for the save but worrel had a rocky 8th. I love the stats, atmosphere is awsome

Click on one of the described plays(I usually click on scored plays), and you can watch the replay of that play! Any angle, zoomed in, out, moved further or inward, rotated, everything you'd get from normal replays.

I was shocked to find this gem. I found the in-game save feature the other day(YES!), I'm sure there are more hidden fun things in the game that I haven't found yet. This game is *CHOCK-FULL* of features that can easily go unnoticed..
        Wow, that's a great find! I assume you're talkin Xbox 360 version?

Has anyone seen a player try to avoid the tag? When I saw this I couldn't believe it actually happend. I was so surprised I forgot to save it. My 2nd baseman fielded a hot shot between 1st and 2nd there was a runner on first trying to get to second. I was trying to turn the double play thinking that I could just run in front of him and he'll run through me and be out. He actually held his arms up and ran OUT the path a little to avoid the tag. Making me almost miss getting the double. I was shocked. Oh how I wish I saved that, don't know if I'll see it again.

I saw this in my Cubs franchise. When I saw it, I couldn't believe it. I was like "No way did I just see that!". Like you, I didn't save it. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Say a summer game starts at 7:15. Well, it will still have that evening sky, the sun still barely visible over the 3rd base foul line. The, by about the 3rd inning or so, it will get to a pretty dark blue. By the 5th or 6th inning, you are pretty much in your pitch black night sky.

It's also in the Xbox version (and I believe PS2 if you have an HDD).

I just caught a foul ball over the dugout fence with Pudge. He reached over the fence and caught the ball. I must have watched the replay about 10 times. I could be wrong, but I don't ever remember seeing this in a video game before. Also, I love how sometimes a batter will call time and you have to wait for him to get back into the box before you can pitch.

This may have already been documented here, but I thought it was pretty cool.

After a pitcher gives up a few hits, walks, maybe a homer, he gets rattled a bit and the controller shakes violently while trying to pinpoint and make the pitch. One time it got so bad after giving up grand salami I had to do a mound visit to calm him down. Very cool little feature.

By the way, there is even an option to save a screenshot from any of the chosen replays. Able to save the actually replay would be even cooler, but hey, at least we have the cake

I hit a hard grounder up the middle, and Kent and Furcal both went after it. Furcal dove for it, and Kent tripped over him.

It still ended up going through for a single.
