I went through this entire thread and didn't see anything about this, but I don't know if anyone else noticed this but a lotof times when coming back from a play or a highlight or cutscene the screen (protecting the fans from foul balls) behind homeplate disappears. The funny thing is I also noticed this in some of the screenshots. Some pics have screens, some don't.

Another option that I use a lot that I still am completely confused about is the "Batter's Eye." It seems as if this does not work correctly for anyone. Hopefully this either will be figured out or fixed in the patch. We can only keep out fingers crossed. Later

I hope 2Ksports is reading this thread. Two more glitches:

+++ Johnny Damon stole 2nd, brushed off "dirt" from his legs. But no dirt was there!

+++ Game stutters when a play has ended, and when you're ready for the next batter. It's like the game can't load fast enough.

+++ Cannot turn off sports ticker


Can someone compile a list of all of the glitches so they can be fixed in patch 1.1?

In the franchise mode, I'm the Cubs playing against the Astros, and for some reason the computer decided that Brad Ausmus should be the center fielder.

Playing the Reds at Wrigley. I'm up 2-1 going to the 5th.

*Ross gets a leadoff single.
*Gonzalez strikes out.
*Hopper (pinch hitting for Belisle) walks.
*Freel hits a looping single to right scoring Ross to tie the game and Hopper goes to third.
*On the first pitch to the Phillips he attempts a squeeze but the bunt goes foul.
*I adjust my infielders.
*The next pitch hits Phillips as he tries to squeeze again. Phillips takes first base and Freel moves to second, but HOPPER IS NOT AT 3rd. Same score Still 1 out.

Has anyone seen this?

My game was called off because of rain and last year it was made into a doubleheader I think. This time the game was still scheduled for the same day. Example, April 2nd game was scheduled at 7:05 and was in a rain delay and the game was called. I go back into my scheduled and the game is still scheduled for april 2nd at 7:05. Weird.

Ditto on that one, game was called for rain in 2nd inning. Back to schedule and see the same game with same starters scheduled for same date and time.

Using Classic pitching I was trying to skip past a replay and when the screen switched back to the game a pitch was already on it's way to the plate.

Had two freeze ups today, just like the guy who made the phone movie. Not the dirty disc error, a total lockup. Required a reboot.

I'm assuming that's bad.

3 more glitches:

++ Cannot throw the ball Around-the-horn. I thought we would be able to throw the ball around the field? Even with the option ON, the user is unable to freely toss the ball around.

++ When putting in a pinch hitter, the game stutters as you watch the game load a blank player model and slap on the new batter's "skin" and uniform.

++Customized tracks randomly get cleared out after meticulously matching songs to certain players!


Random Observation:
Game seems to play more smoothly under "quick play", possibly because VIP profile doesn't get loaded.

I tried to turn a blind eye, I really did, but this game has now frozen on me 4 times. Yes, 4 times. It has completely locked up on me, not even a dirty disc error, so I'm forced to reboot. I'm hoping there are some presentation options I can turn off to help, but I'm already guessing there aren't.

I've never had ANY problems with games freezing on me, and have probably had 4-5 DDE's in my entire 360's lifetime (had since launch).

I usually don't like to look in bugs/glitches threads since alot of people post nonsense in them, but this is a game killer. The game is really cool (I'm new to the MLB 2K series so a lot of things that are old to some people are very refreshing to me (commentary, presentation, etc)) and I would LOVE to be able to get a game or 2 in everyday, but this freezing is killing me!

Last I prop up my 360 on some wooden blocks. Same as the adapter, I put blocks in all four corners to prop it up. This allows for much ventilation.

All in all, this may have been a pointless post for you if you have a PS3, but I hope others can take my advice too. My xbox is in great shape and so are my games!

Yea, I already know about the removing of the game before and after playing it. I've been doing it ever since I got my first DDE with NBA 2K6. My 360 is by itself with nothing enclosing it so it's very well ventilated.

Just kinda frustrated because this game plays very well once you sign out of the profile/vip and get it to run @ a solid 60fps, but this freezing sucks.

And I'll be DAMNED if I pay 400+ $$ for one game, so anybody with that suggestion can just go away now.
