Re: Next Patch is coming soon
I played a game today for the first time in weeks, but played MLB Today Tigers vs A's instead of the next game in my franchise because I'll probly restart it once this patch comes out. I might even wait a little longer for some updates on player ratings.
Anyway the game was completely different than any game I'd played during the franchise, using the exact same settings (default). I put up 12 runs on 19 hits, including 3 HRs from Brandon Inge, in 12-0 rout. Jeremy Bonderman pitched 7 innings with 8 K's.
I picked up on a couple things I hope are addressed in the patch. For one, twice my baserunners decided on their own to try for an extra base when the ball was already on its way to the infield, I had to scramble to send them back and both times they were caught trying to retreat. Only 2 of Inge's HR's were acknowledged, the 3rd was in inside the park home run (error free), I guess those don't count? Plus Bonderman was tired after the 7th inning even though he'd only thrown 63 pitches, I know he's not a 9 inning horse but 63 pitches? Crazy.
Is anyone else getting results like this? And are MLB today games automatically easier than Franchise games with the same settings? I scored about as many runs in this one as it would take a weeks worth of games to get in my franchise.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Yeah hope they fix that fatigue thing..I always have Chris Carpenter tired in the 5th inning with like 65 pitches..Everybody knows Carp is a workhorse. Shouldn't be that tired after 65 pitchesWashington Redskins

Re: Next Patch is coming soon
The excuse about needing additional animations for injuries/errors is TOTAL BS. There are already a few error animations in the game. Why can't you increase the frequency of seeing these animations and add an error to the totals. If you need a player to wriggle around on the ground or something just to cause an injury is ridiculous. Why can't you do a pop up screen saying someone is injured, even if you have to do it after a game.
Who in their right mind develops a baseball game with no errors/injuries??
