    Another franchise game with 45/75 cpu batting.

    Braves (Minor) vs. Marlins (Volstad)

    Braves Offense: 5 singles, 2 doubles, 6BB, 3KO
    Marlins Offense: 7 singles, 3 doubles, 5BB, 4KO

    Braves Pitching: 62/76 (55%) 5BB 4KO
    Marlins Pitching: 45/73 (62%) 6BB 3KO

    This game was won by moving up runners and timely hitting. Great game though, last out was a warning track shot by Stanton that would've tied it. Most of the marlins team was on a cold streak which I think is why I didn't see a HR in this game. Several warning track shots. Braves team is still red hot, McCann has 93/95 batting right now lol.

      Lere you're getting some nice games in. I'd so those settings are pretty close dude. You should post averages after say 10 games and compare them to the averages in the first post. You might want to figure out what AL average numbers are, they will differ from the overall avg's and the NL avg's. Yahoo sports has 2010 team full season stats, takes 15 mins to do the averages in a spreadsheet.

        Good to see still going here, great sliders still. I played a couple of games with latest set. oh patch, oh patch, where art thou patch?? Hate having to do franchise, and sim every 4 or 5 games to get to get fatigue. I will post averages after 10 games.

          One other thing that I do that may lead to the user giving up more walks is that I pitch to catcher suggestions pretty closely. If I'm up in the count I might move the cursor to the corner of the box, and if I'm behind I'll move it more towards the center giving me a greater chance to throw a strike, but for the most part I stick to the catcher suggestions.

              Ill start doing this from now on and post the averages. Noting though, I am the blue jays, so home runs may be a little inflated. Probably only going to be able to get 1 game in today though.

                With ur inflated homeruns what is ur HUM power at? I have the mets and thru 20 games Wright has 13 homeruns but Bay Beltren and Davis combined have 6.............so 1 guy is outrageous while the others stink, Beltren 1, Bay 1 lol.........I have been shuffling between 70-85 power and have no idea which is best, I need a setting where people with 50's and 60's power can hit a few and contact swings will actually go out

                  What is your CPU Pitch Success at? If you raise that to around 80 or so, and leave your HUM power around 70-75--you should start seeing more homers from the rest of your team. I have my HUM power at 65 and I just hit a dinger with Yadier Molina (POW 49) this morning. Through 24 games, The guy leading my team is Berkman, with 7 homers--Pujols has 6, Holiday has 4.

                      I would like to set my power higher because I haven't hit a homerun in 4 games. I had hit 4 through 6 innings and decided to lower my power from 75 to 60 just because thats what it is listed at here. I have hit HRs on 60, but hardly any at all and it seems impossible with guys like Martin Prado and even Chipper Jones. Dan Uggla, Alex Gonzalez, Brian McCann, Freddie Freeman, and Jason Heyward are the only guys I can hit it out of the park with.

                      I'd like to raise it back higher, but I am afraid I will be averaging 15 hits a game again and will start to see at least 2 HRs a game. I need to find the happy medium and then work on CPU defense to slow down my hit totals.

                        I have the EXACT same slider setting as are on the OP of this thread. But then again, I am the Blue Jays, huge home run hitting team. (Look at yesterday, in the fifth inning against Texas in real life MLB, 3 run homer, solo shot, then a 2 run homer. 6 runs off of 3 home runs in one inning. It's the Blue Jays, it's what they do)

                        Also, what I've noticed, patience is the key to home runs. Plate Discipline is EVERYTHING.

                            average of top 5 teams in that category and average of bottom 5 teams. For my NL stats I just took whoever the top team was. I figure you try to be between the top team and bottom teams stats.

                              Another franchise game. Braves have 3 hot hitters, 2 cold - Reds have votta and bruce cold...I'm running into a lot of cold CPU teams. I should probably test these on play now games...oh well.

                              Pretty decent game. Braves left a lot of guys on. Reds had a chance against Hudson in the fifth, bases loaded nobody out and votto up. He strikes out, Bruce flys out but doesnt get the run in, next batter K's.

                                Played a 12 inning mlb today game.

                                Braves Pitching: 46/96 (68%) 1bb 10ko
                                Padres Pitching: 34/99 (75%) 1bb 12ko

                                Braves got a solo shot in the 12th from Uggla. Kimbrel gave up back to back singles in the 12th with 1 out. The padres ran out of position players so a pitcher bunted them to 2nd and 3rd with 2 out for Will Venebal. He lined out to Gonzalez to end the game. Good game!
