    Re: Blazzen's MLB 2K11 Slider's

Averages after 6 games for the user, 4 games for the cpu (had to throw 2 games out b/c I changed contact from 50 to 45). There was one MLB today game thrown in the mix.

    User: 6 runs, 10 hits, 1.7 doubles, 1.3 HRs, 2.3 BBs, 5.7 KO, 0.5 Error
    CPU: 2.25 runs, 8.25 hits, 1.75 doubles, 0.25 HR, 2 BBs, 7.25 KO, 0.5 Error

      Re: Blazzen's MLB 2K11 Slider's

First Game Pitching To Catcher Suggestions
      <hr style="color:#393939" size="1"> Blue Jays (V. Mazzaro) vs. White Sox (G. Floyd)

Blue Jays Streaks: J. Bautista (Cold) J.P. Arencibia (Cold) J. Thome (Hot) A. Lind (Hot) J. Grimmage (Hot)

White Sox Streaks: A. Rios (Cold) A. Dunn (Cold/Minor Injury) C. Quentin (Cold) D. Viciedo (Hot) T. Flowers (Cold) B. Morel (Cold) L. Milledge (Hot)

      Blue Jays 2 0 0 0 0 3 0 0 0 - 5 8 0
      White Sox 0 1 2 0 0 0 0 1 2 - 6 13 0
      W: S. Santos (2-0) L: J. Rauch (0-2)

      Blue Jays Offense- 2 singles, 1 double, 2 HR's, 1 SB, 0 BB, 10 KO
      White Sox Offense- 10 singles, 3 HR's, 0 BB, 10 KO

      Blue Jays Pitching- 36/86 (70%) 0 BB 10 KO
      White Sox Pitching- 25/77 (75%) 0 BB 10 KO

      Scoring:
Top of 1st: Adam Lind with a 2 run shot on a 2-0 pitch. 2-0 BLUE JAYS
Bottom of 2nd: Gordon Beckham with a single. Tyler Flowers scores. 2-1 BLUE JAYS
Bottom of 3rd: Carlos Quentin with a 2 run shot on a 1-2 pitch. 3-2 WHITE SOX
Top of 6th: A HUUUUGE 3 run blast by Aaron Hill on the first pitch of the at-bat. 5-3 BLUE JAYS (G. Floyd pulled for S. Santos after HR)
Bottom of 8th: (With Jon Rauch now pitching) Solo Shot by Dayan Viciedo on a 1-1 pitch. 5-4 BLUE JAYS
Bottom of 9th: Adam Dunn 2 run HR to win the game for the WHITE SOX 6-5

NOTES: It became IMPOSSIBLE to bat after the 7th inning. US Cellular Field just got waaay too shadowy around home plate. This game was an absolute heartbreaker Just because I'm so pissed off, I'm going to blame Arencibia for telling me to pitch a high fastball to Adam Dunn -_-

        W: R. Romero (4-3) L: J. Vazquez (2-2) S: J. Rauch

        Blue Jays Pitching- 50/89 (64%) 3 BB 6 KO
        Red Sox Pitching- 46/79 (63%) 4 BB 8 KO

        Scoring:

Top of 2nd: Double by Jim Thome. Aaron Hill scores. 1-0 BLUE JAYS;;;; Single by Jayson Nix. Jim Thome scores. 2-0 BLUE JAYS

Top of 7th: Aaron Hill with an opposite field blast, a 2 run shot to make the score 7-4 BLUE JAYS

Top of 8th: A.J. Jimenez lays down a perfect Suicide Squeeze. Jayson Nix scores. 8-4 BLUE JAYS

        NOTES:
Romero left the game with an calf injury in the Bottom of the 6th 2 pitches after the Anderson RBI double. David Purcey replaced him.

My back-up catcher, Jimenez made an amazing play. With no out, 2 on base, bottom of the 6th, Reddick tried to bunt the runners into scoring position, but he charged out and fired a BULLET to third to get the lead runner.

This game felt great after that last heartbreaker I'm loving the sliders man. Look at these results, and if you see anything that needs changing, or have any questions, just let me know.

Realistic play of the game: Sweeney hit a hard grounder to 3rd, Youkilis got to it with a diving snag, and from his knee fired a bullet to 1st, bang-bang play with Sweeney's great speed but the throw was just wide, pulling Gonzalez off of 1st. Sweeney was safe.

Player of the game: Aaron Hill: 2-2, HR, 2B, 3 BB, 2 RBI, 2 R, SB

          Re: Blazzen's MLB 2K11 Slider's

Here's another franchise game w/ 45/75 cpu batting. Game was an absolute slugfest. Prado Heyward and Uggla were cold, Mcann 93/95, Willingham 79/88, Freeman 78/79 and Gonzalez 81/88 were red hot. Cardinals had all of their big hitters cold including Pujols Holliday and Rasmus.

          Braves 0 0 1 0 2 2 6 3 2 - 16 18 0
          Cards 0 0 0 0 0 2 0 4 0 - 6 13 3

          Braves Offense: 8 singles, 8 doubles, 2 HR's (Both Willingham), 3 BB, 8 KO
          Cards Offense: 11 singles, 1 double, 1 HR, 1BB, 7 ko

          Braves Pitching 40/79 (66%) 1bb 7ko
          Cards Pitching 47/97 (67%) 3bb 8ko

I think I need to start testing these on play now or mlb today games. My braves team is stacked because so many players progressed so well in the off season. 90 rated pitching 91 rated offense 91 overall. Lead the league in ERA and Runs scored...kinda crazy. Again, only offseason move was picking up Willingham when Chipper and Lowe retired.

this is becoming a frustrating exercise, isn't it?? i'm there with you on my thread as well. classic hitting is posing some unique issues regarding the power - contact problem.

The big problem with me is, my high power guys are getting a good amount of home runs, but my low power guys who would usually hit 1-10 homers a year, will probably hit 0 with me hitting with them because of the lowered power :S .

Simmed the last 3 weeks of the season...closest team to me in the east was 18 games back in september lol.

Braves finished 105-57, next best NL team was the Cardinals at 88-74, then Giants at 87-75 and the Brewers beat the Phillies in a tie breaker to go 86-77.

In the AL white sox finished one game back from the Braves at 104-58 followed by the 96-66 Rangers, 88-74 Indians, 86-76 Red Rosx and 85-77 Yankees.

And I probably only played 25 games this season, rest was simmed. This team was SIIICK.

Simmed the playoffs and the Braves get swept in the first round by the Brew Crew lol. Though they did go on to beat the Rangers in the WS.
