I had to put mine back to 50, I was trying to use it at a high level like that but I had Murphy at 2B making 1-2 errors a game and Reyes was basically making an error a game, it was a little absurd to maybe have someone with like 80-100 errors in a full season lol

Re: Blazzen's MLB 2K11 Slider's
I lowered cpu pitch success to 60 and tried it out and I actually hit a homerun with freedie freeman off of Takashi Saito. Was a power swing on a down the middle fastball but I took it deep over the center field wall 400+ feet. Freeman only has 65 power.
I think lowering cpu pitch success is the thing to do. 60 is the level it is at on default all star settings. Only problem with this is user batting settings will have to come down some as this seems to really boost user offense.GamerTag: Blazzen85

Moved my CPU Success to 50, HUM contact to 25 and HUM power to 55, seems goodComment

Whenever the patch comes out, assuming we are actually getting a patch, I will look into lower pitch success and see what the other sliders will need to be after doing that.GamerTag: Blazzen85

By now I'm sure most of you know that the patch hits in about 2 weeks. I'll be redoing some of my sliders at that point. I want to test with lower CPU pitch success, will likely use 50, and tweak user batting from there. Unless the patch really changes something 45/75 cpu batting is what I will likely stick with.GamerTag: Blazzen85

Re: Blazzen's MLB 2K11 Slider's
I just picked up the game and am using this set to cut my teeth on the game. The pitching side of things is really great. I feel like control and fatigue are really good with this set.
I have a question about the hitting. It looks like you don't use left stick influence at all--is that right?
Also, when you pre-load the power swing, can you do that at any point in the pitcher's windup, or do you have to do it, say, while he's actually delivering the ball like a real batter would?
Thanks!Comment

u can preload ur power swing at any time, i find this horribly unrealistic but most people like it, I personally think it should of never changed from I beleive 2K8 when everything was timing and u couldnt preload ur swing and u had only 1 type of swing alsoComment

Re: Blazzen's MLB 2K11 Slider's
Made a few minor tweaks but haven't had much time to test them. They are in bold in the first post. Most importantly lowered user power by 5 because I lowered cpu pitch success to 60.
I hit a home run with Brooks Conrad (70 power batting right handed) with these settings. Think the lowered cpu pitch success should allow for some more HR's for the lesser rated power guys. Just hoping this doesn't result in too much offense which is what needs to be tested. I also hit a contact swing homer with Uggla, which it had been a long time since I hit a contact swing homer.
Just haven't had much time to test lately nor desire too with the patch dropping in 2 weeks. Will continue further testing once the patch drops. I firmly believe once the patch drops we need to start over from default all star and tweak from there.GamerTag: Blazzen85

Re: Blazzen's MLB 2K11 Slider's
Hey Blazzen, I noticed u have ur batter eye at 50, do you actually use this? Ide like ur opinion on this, I have yet to even attempt it, I know you have a small ball cursor and u try to guess where the location will be and sometime your correct and it tells you the type of pitch, am I correct there?Comment
