I lowered all the hitting numbers down to 33: Human Power, AI Power, AI Contact, and AI Skill. The result? An 18-inning marathon with my Cubs beating the Braves 3-2. I think I struck out 14 batters while striking out 12 times myself. I basically used JB's sliders and tweaked the above numbers. There was two homeruns hit in the game: One by Alex Gonzalez and one by Chipper Jones. Derrick Lee and Ramon Martinez hit shots off the wall, as did J.D. Drew. So, as you can see, it was pretty random, though I did feel like I could strike the computer out easily sometimes. Will be tweaking some more to get more realism.

i wouldnt lower the AI contact and skill TOO much. i have AI contact at 47. AI skill at 43. AI power at 37 or 38. I actually raised human Power a couple notches from where i had it. i think 37. i did that cuz i was only hittin singles and weak hits. so i comprised with raising human power up with raising the AI pitching. check my previous post to get those slider numbers. I get really really great results. I will post my exact sliders when i get the chance. just to give you some of my recent games, they go as follows:
my team - Yankees
previous games:
mariners 4 8 1
yankees 9 7 0
yankees 5 8 1
angels 3 9 0
yankees 2 6 2
angels 7 11 1
what i love about my games is that i dont get ALOT of basehits. i have to work to get guys on base with walks, and put guys in position to score by stealing or bunting guys over. however, there have been games where i rock opposing teams 4th or 5th starters. but when im facing pitchers like zito or schilling, i have to bare down to play.
