I'm just waiting until Hank panics because he realizes the Red Sox are about to get Santana, and he offers the Twins Hughes and Cano.

Ditto. I just want all hell to break lose and for the Twins end up with more than they should have. Ok, I'll wake up from my dream in a few minutes.

Geez, give the guy a little more credit than that.
Cost of Super Bowl XLII ticket -$750
Trip from NYC to Glendale, Arizona -$650
            Vintage Eli Manning jersey -$230
Picturing the faces of Chargers' fans and certain studio analysts as they watch Eli play in the Super Bowl XLII from their respective homes, or for some - a television studio - Priceless.

Since it looks like the Angels lose Cabrera I think they are going after Johan hard and they could easily beat the red sox offer with mlb ready players and prospects like Adenhart, Wood, Kendrick, E. Santana, Weaver, Willts.

The Bruins acquired Manny Fernandez during the draft I think. He is injured and looking to be number 2 after Tim Thomas

That's what Steve Phillips reported on SportsCenter. If Steve Phillips was still the Mets GM, we'd already have a deal done...

                    Yep.

Now that they aren't trading for Cabrera, I fully expect Santana to be an Angel.

That's if the Angels actually decide to give up their prospects. Although with Stoneman gone as GM they actually might make the trade.

The Angels GM has already said they have had NO contact with the Twins, those reports were false.

Well, then I guess the ball is back in the Red Sox's court.

I wouldn't be so sure about the Angels. Arte Moreno blasted the Marlins for "asking for too much for a guy who is arbitration eligable and then you have to try and sign him". The Marlins were asking for 4 players from the Angels-3 major leaguers and a prospect for Cabrera, the Twins will be looking for the same for Santana.

I think the Angels have to do it for the fans sake. The fans were promise a lot this off season (Arod and now Cabrera).

If they want a bat they have to grab Miguel Tejada but Tejada doesn't look the same any more.
