Or as someone once joked on here, make a strikeout worth two outs instead of one heh.
Kind of building on that, why not just make it so you get 2 strikes and 3 balls. Imagine how that would change the mindset when at the plate. There would most likely be more first pitch swings because if you let one go by you could be fighting uphill. Also it would keep pitch counts down.

For a really crazy idea what about auto counts. You walk to the plate, hit the button and BOOM, there is your starting count on the big screen. "Hope I get 3-0 and not 0-2!!

Let’s have robot umps call balls and strikes so everything is consistent, and if you don’t swing at a pitch over the middle of the plate it counts as two strikes. Also, three fouls and you’re out

I’ll admit I love HRs. But not at the expense of the rest of the game. When the game is brought down to teams relying on the HR you might as well skip the game and just watch the highlights at the end of the night.

ST for the time being starts in 7 weeks.

Pitchers and catchers report in just over 5 weeks.

I'd fire Manfred. And make sure he was kicked out of baseball for life.

Tommy Lasorda passes away at age 93.

He started his MLB playing career on the same team as Jackie Robinson, played on the As when they were in KC, and went on to become a manager for 21 years, winning 2 WS with the Dodgers.

One of my all-time favourite baseball personalities. He had so much passion for baseball and always came across as such a positive, happy person. Sports has always been a business but he was a reminder that at it's heart baseball is just a game that is here to enjoy. He will be sorely missed.

(Still upset about his Dodgers beating the Expos in 1981 in the NLCS. Hopefully, I get over it soon. LOL)

                  Damn

Tommy was one of the good ones and one of my all time favorite personalities in the game of baseball.

I was saddened the day he retired, and even moreso today.

                  RIP Coach

Lasorda news saddens me. He just seemed like a guy who really loved life and really loved baseball; gonna miss him.

This one hurt, grew up a huge Dodger and Lasorda fan and couldn't believe this when I heard it just now. He will be sorely missed, I got nothing else to add, this one hurts.

LA in the 1980s had that cool mystique to it, both in terms of sports and pop culture, and he is forever linked to that.
