Did the other party agree to the arbitration amount or just the Rangers?

Single game tickets here going on sale tomorrow!

I found some real good(almost too good to be true) tickets on stubhub. It's electronic download...which is making me abit more cautious about it. It's multiple games in multiple sections, people selling tickets much cheaper than the full price if you bought it straight through ticketmaster, so it's not like it's just one set of tickets mysteriously cheaper.

What do people think...tickets costing up to $80, for under $40..too good to be true(especially with electronic download), or a nice deal on stubhub?

There's already a Canadian connection what with a 3rd older brother living and playing for a Quebec team in an independent pro league right now. The thinking is that the Jays will go all out for Lourdes Gourriel Jr. who's only 22 and an infielder. I was watching a piece on MLBN and they were REALLY talking up Lourdes so if the Jays somehow can come up with the capital to get him (both brothers are expected to net more money than Yoan Moncada) that would be HUGE.

It's just speculation so we'll see what transpires. Lourdes can't be signed outside of the international bonus pool rules until he turns 23 and both brothers have to establish residency in another country for a few months anyways.
"An executive that Westhead spoke with believes that both brothers will command a richer deal than the one handed to Yoan Moncada by the Red Sox this past offseason. Boston gave Moncada a $31.5 million bonus, which was doubled with a 100% overage tax. Again, this is far too early to have any realistic market established."

You know the Jays aren't paying that kind of bonus.

It's Gurriel, they changed it from Gourriel for some reason.

Sorry for the confusion on the last name. The article I read had the old spelling.

Did MLB go back in time or something. No interactive map when buying tickets!? That was the most useful thing when buying tickets, cause you could see literally every seat in the stadium and choose exactly where you want to sit.

Hope it's just temporary or something, cause I hate events where they just give you "best available seats" in a specific pricing section instead of letting you choose the exact seat/row you want.

New headwear option for pitchers this year. Gonna be handed out during spring training.

In spring training, 20 big league pitchers are expected to receive newly designed protective headwear resulting from a collaboration between Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association.

Don't know why they didn't just go with a full cap/helmet, but it's a step in the right direction.

Sounds like it's going to be resisted by players until mandatory.
