Francisco Mejia, Yu-Cheng Chang, and Greg Allen all headed to Milwaukee.

Mejia is a good piece. Arguably the best catching prospect in the game after Willson Contreras. He's only 20 and won't be ready any time soon, but he's destroyed A and A+ ball this year. He's also a switch-hitter.

Greg Allen is a guy who's walked more than he's struck out in A+ ball (always a good sign) and stole nearly 40 bases this year. That speed and getting on base is a nice combo. Also a switch-hitter.

All 3 players are a ways away though. A bit of a gamble by Stearns to get no MLB ready talent (or near-ready talent) for Lucroy.

The Padres wanted out from Kemp's bad contract, and the Braves were so desperate to dump Olivera, they were willing to take it.

And while Kemp is on the decline, he still has more power than anybody else on the team. So, if everything goes right, maybe he can help the team contend next year.

Sounds like a 4th player might head to Milwaukee yet... I'll wait to see the final deal before I see how I feel about it.

Its just that he created the whole mess himself, and now he's trying to fix it....and somehow it might work and he could end up being a hero after trading away Trea Turner, Yasmani Grandal, Jesse Hahn, Max Fried, Mallex Smith, Matt Wisler....I understand that he got some quality pieces back for some of those. But they had a decent group of young players coming up, and he blew it up trying to win in 2015, and delayed a rebuild by one season. I feel like he created his own mess just so he could clean it up and save the day.

I like our farm better now than when he began

EDIT: lol three posts within seconds.. I'm hearing Frazier and Sheffield plus another prospect are going to New York but haven't seen anything official yet.

Clint Frazier and Justus Sheffield look like the main pieces of the deal. Probably the Indians two best prospects. Frazier, a former top draft pick, is an outfielder and Sheffield is a LHP. Both guys top 100 prospects, Frazier is on the upper end while Sheffield is on the lower end.

Wouldn't be surprised if one or two more players were involved.
