Re: 9/19 - 10/2 Game Discussion Thread
Snitker has already said that for the sanctity of the pennant races he will be playing the starters and call ups will only see time if the game gets out of hand either way. Re: 9/19 - 10/2 Game Discussion Thread
Sucks that it's come to this, but with 3 games left, gotta hope the Braves and Yankees can win at least 2 of their final 3 games. Maybe even a small bit of help from the A's too.
September 2016 has just been a horrible month for the Jays. At one point, looked like they could even win the division, now, final weekend of season and WC race is as close as it's been for them since the all star break.Comment

Re: 9/19 - 10/2 Game Discussion Thread
If the Jays players have any self respect I hope they're pissed off at how badly they ended the season at home. It's time for them to break out the big bats and do some damage. I can't lay the blame on the pitching, I mean they're only human they're bound to break at some point.
Here's hoping the SP and relief works in tandem with timely hitting to take the series against Boston. Honestly, I don't want to face Baltimore but if that's to be the case then damnit, that's what it's gonna be.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Sanchez will be fine vs Os, it's just up to offence to back him up. Assuming they even make it. Need to win at least 1 vs Sox to have a shot. 2 would more than likely secure it, and 3 guarantees them 1st WCComment

I forgot to add but apparently it's supposed to rain all weekend in Boston. Those two may have to play in some real bad weather if they want to get these games in.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

I'm willing to bet that Cards/Reds have to resume/pick up where they left off. That's too important a game to just give the Cardinals a win on a blatantly missed call..."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. If you're the Reds, why do you wait to decide to challenge it? It's not like you have anything to lose on a review, like they carry over into future games or something. Just say, "I think it hit above the fence, can you look at it?"
If they had no individual from the playing field or dugout indicate suspicion of it possibly hitting above there, then they deserve what they get. I am not a fan of getting a phone call to decide whether to issue a challenge. I personally believe challenges should be made "then and there," for best judgment by the manager to decide that play they saw live should be challenged.
Do I think they should have been able to reverse this play? Absolutely. But they let the current rule get to them and did this to themselves if nobody (including Duvall) made stink about it as soon as it happened.Last edited by Blzer; 09-30-2016, 08:15 AM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
