        Re: 7/2 - 7/15 Game Discussion Thread

Another one of those "is that in the rulebook?" moments.

Jays had Seunghwan Oh on the mound. In order for him and Russell Martin to communicate, Jays had his translator come out of the dugout to translate the conversation.

The issue here is that the umps were preventing the translator from speaking to anyone and tried sending him back to the dugout. The reasoning is apparently that translators aren't allowed to do this without the manager being present?

Jays said they have done this in the past and no issue was ever had with it, so what's with this suddenly being an issue? Is that even in the rulebook that a translator has to be accompanied by the manager if he's translating pitcher to catcher mound visit?

Read something today, signs are pointing towards our lone AS as being the culprit. Thought the guy was an emotionless robot but apparently he does have some human traits.

So, CC just fell apart on the mound. O's now lead 5-4 after a Valencia HR.

Love it when the Cubs are on the West Coast. Can go to work, come home, eat some food, kill some time (maybe even take a nap!) and still not miss anything.

How do the Phillies seriously lose to that dumpster fire in New York? Jesus.

Rays jump out to a big early lead, trying to make it 12 wins from their last 16 games. In the previous 15 games they've only conceded 31 runs, 17 fewer than any other team in that period. Pretty mental

Bryce Harper playing pepper with the batter's eye at PNC Park. That was a blast.

Really cool to see Ryan Shazier having a good time at the ballpark in Pittsburgh. Still remember when he went down with that spine injury and it was such a sick feeling.

Aaron Nola gets named an All-Star and then proceeds to hit a bases-clearing 3-run double. Beautiful.

That's two uncharacteristic mistakes by Altuve tonight. A's need to take advantage of this one.

For some reason I'm just now realizing that the A's made Frankie Montas into a starter.

Really hoping the fish can help out the Cubbies tonight. Really not sure how Brewers squandered that top of the 10th
