I don’t think if matters who the Yankees get they will win 95 plus games they just gotta learn to beat Houston no matter who is in that team.

So find players that can best Houston and not hone run or nothing it in October. The Cole signing was suppose to get them
    Past it it hasn’t.

Well yea the lineup needs a overhaul too. Rodon doesn't give them a WS trophy. But you do have to replace Taillon. And that's the best pitcher left.

Because essentially we have gotten worse. Yankees locked up Judge but haven't improved anything else. They are banking on these prospects. I like Peraza and Volpe is extremely promising. But you never know.

Trust me I'm not happy so far. Great that we have Judge. Now you go build a title contender. Or it's all pointless.

It may not be the popular opinion for you NY fans, but the way to beat the Astros is to get batters who can get good at bats in the late innings of a ballgame. That's not always a thumper, but even Bryson Stott who had no hits in the series for the Phills, but walked 4 times and put in some really good quality late at bats, working counts.

I'm not saying a rookie that can work the count is what the Yankees need, but I think one or two high OPS low strikeout hitters, they can leverage against that nasty Houston bullpen would make a real difference. Somebody looking to do something other than put it over the fence to get to the guys that can would go a long way IMO.

Exactly. A ding dong with runners on base looks a lot better than one with 2 outs and nobody on base.

That's about as good as any rotation can get in the AL. Huge pickup. And it's not an over pay.

good pick for the yankees but I really don't think pitching is their issue it is the lineup with to many home run or nothing type players and the BP had no body left at the end because of all the injures.

                            goodbye beard too

We need at least one additional lefty bat, as a starter or for the bench.
