As far as Bonds hitting 70 hrs out of the blue...

From 1992 - 200 with the exception of 2001 where he hit 73...Bonds AVERAGED 32-45 HRS in that time span....I agree Steroids probably helped him get a few HR's he didnt deserve.....But all of them werent!! The guy plain out murders EVERY pitcher he faces almost

Ted Williams only hit .400 once in his career after averaging over .350+ his career I believe (that must also mean he is using perforance enchancing drugs) Comparable to your arguement about Bonds' 73 when he only average 35-45 HRS...

Dont come on this thread and throw out dumb, idiotic nonsense just to piss people off....FORTUNATELY there are some educated people on this thread who can have a constructive debate...If you want debate give me some cold hard facts just dont pull $h!t out of your @$$.
Ok, see I didnt want to get into a flame match with anyone. I have every right to express my opinion just like you. Whether you like it or not. Im not dumb, idiotic or ignorant......Im just a 35 yr old father, here at work trying to get into the conversation at hand.

Now that thats out of the way. Lets talk baseball.

I have been watching baseball for over 20 years, and I have never in my life seen a player pitched around like Bonds. Never. By the 3rd ball, this man is already walking to 1st base. Its unheard of. Back in 93' when he came to the Giants, NOBODY was calling him a "BEAST". They were calling a "GREAT" player that does it all. Now he's un-pitchable. I dont buy it.

And you know what, as a father of a 7 yr old that likes to go to Yankee games.........I shouldnt have to pay inflated prices to watch inflated salaries like Giambi or Bonds, because they cheated to hit the long ball.

Like it or not, he appears to be the most candid of the group even if some of his testimony stretches the truth as it is said his book has.

It is going to take someone like Canseco to come out and possibly even exaggerate to bring the seriousness of this problem to the spotlight.

I believe that his book and his testimony will ultimately do more good than harm.

                        Well said.

The seriousness is the money being made by MLB and the players off of this stuff.

They have to say to themselves, do we go back to 30 to 40 homerun leaders or the monster seasons we have now.
