according to the mighty double x...Doug Mirabelli was a cancer in the club house with a bad attitude since day one when the Padres signed Mike Piazza and didn't care about the pitchers in front of him.

Also Kevin Towers is having MLB look into a situation with Doug and Peter Gammons where supposably Doug told Peter that you can garauntee that he will be back in Boston May 15 and peter gammons said do you want to bet on that. According to the bet Peter gammons said he wouldn't be on boston come may 15th and then yesterday said that he lost the bet and Doug will be in boston sooner rather then later.

according to Greene now.... its Petco. Whos next player to say it? I am with Tim Flannery on this, next time a player complains about PETCO should just be outed period and get players that can play.

Agreed it doesn't even make sense. PacBell or ATT or whatever it's called now is no more of a pitchers park than Petco, with the same type of dimensions and the same wet marine air about it.

Quit complaining about the park and hit the ball..Hopefully they can take this momentum from the last 2 games and get a nice win streak going.

Yeah and Tim also brought up another good point was that the padres hitters want to continue to hit the ball in the air why not hit some line drives for a change? why not hit some jam shots?

Adrian Gonzalez is scaring me. He's really not swinging the bat well.

Wow, Greene is the last player on this team I'd expect say that... but he hasn't done anything to merit that he'd be a better hitter being affected by Petco Park...

Greene is looking like a Dante Bichette... he'd probably hit .260, 30 hrs at Coors Field... but suck it up, you were a good hitter in the minors and college... but blaming it on the ballpark shows that you're making excuses and also exposing your laziness to adjust accordingly.

Khalil's problem is that he smokes way too much weed.

I agree, he's been in a major slump the past 8 games (only 2 hits in his last 10 games).

And why the hell is this team always playing better on the road than at home? I really hate the inconsistency.

Well isn't that funny, Brazelton's ERA still is in double digits even if he didn't give up the home run.

                            Another thing to note:

                            10-game homestand: 23 runs

                            4-game roadtrip through 3 games: 26 runs.
