No, we probably could use run production, but 1 run isn't going to do it. To say Nady would is insane or to think 1 person can change the outcome of what the Padres are doing so far.

No, you are raving about what Nady is doing so far. Again you can't say that this was a "stupid" move yet as it's in April, the only way this can be classified as a stupid move is if he goes on to have year like Jason Bay did when he was traded to the Pirates and what he continues to do at the MLB Level, now he showed just how stupid it was for the Padres to have never given him a shot. But see you fail to see that the Padres gave Nady a chance to win job after job in SD, but he could never hold it down for some reason. As for me acting like a stupid roster move is ok, why because I don't agree with your assement on Nady's move being a mistake or "stupid" as you would say? Also to say that I even might think that stupid moves is a rare occurance wrong again...as I didn't like Jason Bay, Perez and JJ Furmaniak being traded..for basically nothing outside of Giles.

Once again, No a medicore team is not ok with me, but I am not going to continue to bash, complain or whatever else about this team. There is just no point in it, because it gets you no where.
Petco-itis isn't a fact. It's a myth and excuse. Just because you buy in to that doesn't make it fact. Just because the media talks about it doesn't make it fact. It's an excuse simple as that.

300 ab's in a padre uniform is hardly a chance. So are you saying we don't need his run production right now? We've scored all of 5 runs in our last 28 innings. If you don't think they could use Nady's bat right now, you're in complete denial. You think we're going to get more from Cameron? Again, 249 lifetime average. 22 hr's a year and 140 k's. 33 years old. I find it hard to believe Nady won't exceed those numbers this year, given a full opportunity. And that makes it a stupid move.

True. Although had Chris Young not decided to lob his batting practice fastballs down the middle of the plate repeatedly, or the Padres decide to hit the ball once in a while, it might never have come in to play.

for 3 years...you would see that they are 2 different teams when in Petco and away from Petco. To think that this Park is not in there heads is denial. As for me being in denial about Nady helping..no I am not, because you can't show me how him being in this lineup would help it. Also to bring up Cameron's numbers is insane. To think a 27 yr old kid who couldn't beat out Roberts or Klesko in the OF and then eventually had the job handed to him at First Base last year after Nevin was traded, But wait he didn't hold it down...because he was colder than the other side of your pillow. He got cold year in and year out at the wrong times when he was given chance after chance. He was suppose to be the Padres starting LF or RF one year, but wait he didn't get the job done. Then he was going to be the Third basemen, but wait he didn't get that done either and like I said his best chance came when Padres Trade Nevin and he failed there...Look at his history and if you actually watched him over the years you would see that he is a average OF and will be a average Hitter, who when slumps he goes down bad.

If he surpasses what Cameron does this year...good for Nady, but does a 1 year wonder make it a studid move...NO it doesn't. He would have to show the world that he is not a 1 year wonder in order for this to go down as a stupid move.

Just like you don't see what is so good about Johnson...I don't see what Makes Nady better than Johnson, besides that Nady is a starter now and that he has 5 HRs and Johnson has 0.

LMAO , you can not be serious.

I'll just let it go. You'll make any excuse to justify the Padres playing like crap and making ****ty moves.

lol...I am not making up a excuse and don't see where you continue to come up with that, but if you want to continue to think that sure go for it and if you want to continue to complain about the Padres...go for it.

Trying to use the ballpark is in their head as a reason for them not hitting is exactly that an excuse. Saying things like no matter what Nady does this year compared to Cameron, the deal was still good makes even less sense.

And you're damn right I can complain, as much as I want. I have more than paid my dues with this team. I have spent more than my share of money on this team. And I told everyone that would listen the advantages for the building the new ballpark. And what do I get for 28 years of my loyalty. Another ****ty team, who's win total will more than likely be in the 70's again this year.

When you've put anyhwere near as much time, money, and effort in to following this team as I have let me know. Only then could you possibly pretend to know where I am coming from.

for about the 100th, I am not saying the park is a excuse, just because I am resaying what others have said that makes me saying a excuse? Just because I have said what others have said doesn't mean I by into it.

Dang..I mean didnt the Padres make the playoffs last year? Thatz a pretty nice thing i'd say..Prob 15 teams in the last 5 years who have not made the playoffs at all

Also , Im watchin this game on mlb.com and What were they thinking let Brazleton hit there in the 5th inning?

The Padres have gotta have maybe one of the Worse Lineups in baseball tho after watching this game, They have Pretty much no one who can scare a pitcher..Maybe Brian Giles but just i dont know anymore

Xavier Nady for Mike Cameron? I still dont understand that trade, But I do expect Nady to fall back to Normal Life here soon, But hey you never know He's supposed to have the potential

BK, just be happy that you won a division last year, that is always nice. Even though it was a joke of a Division. Also, you always have the Angels and big bad Vlad lol.

Same I am tired of being mediocre at best. Wasn't the reason we paid for the new stadium so the Padres would have the revenue to pay players and be competetive?

Why would I continue to give them money? Especially with the Angels just as close to my house.

BTW, well played Towers. Tonight one of the guys you gave up on went 2 for 5 with a bomb and 2 rbi. While your big pitcher acquisition gave up 4 er, 6 hits, walked 3, struck out 2, and gave up 2 bombs in a whopping 4 innings of work.

                        Looking good KT.

In the last 32 innings of play the team has scored 5 runs, and collected 21 hits. Way to go fellas!!!
