Anyways, this team needs to stay this consistent, but the offense hasn't shown it's capable of doing so especially given the current player's track records (Cameron, Greene, Piazza, Gonzalez, etc).

Bellhorn has always been a streak hitter..When hes hot, hes hot and you need to keep his bat in the lineup any way possible and then he can just be flat out cold (ie. see the pinch hitting appereances)
Yeah I don't get it either. Its a ballpark, come on who cares about the dimensions and what not. Every ballpark has something wierd about it in terms of distance. So now they need to take the mindset that PETCO is a Away Ballpark and just continue to smack the ball around. Stop trying to kill the ball in petco and starting hitting line drives and stringing hits together like they have been on the road.

It's a pity how one of these two starter's pitching performances will be wasted. What a pitcher's duel except I guess the seventh is the most Tomko will reach (86 pitches through 5).Comment

It's really tough since Woody has been pitching well too (and I am surprised). As for Chan Ho... I can't really tell.Comment

We need players who can hit on jupiter if they had too. Mentally tough players are what build championship caliber teams.Comment

True, but until Scott Cassidy falters there's no problem with him being the seventh inning guy.
Anyways, when Carlos Zambrano said he was looking to get back on track (in an article, I don't know if it was in the newspaper or one of the sports websites' articles), he wasn't kidding.Comment

Piazza needs to be traded so Bowen and Bard can play.
Great win... but the home team's home batting average is still where Khalil likes his average. (.195ish)Comment
