Originally posted by TheTruth916Yeah, Cameron made a lot of plays in CF that was like wow...last year Roberts and whoever else would not have gotten to them. It looks like Cameron is here for his D and not his bat. Also I think the reason why Johnson doesn't spell Roberts in LF is because like you said we would have no one to lead off..so that is why EY still gets the LF spot first over Johnson...which sucks, because Johnson is a better LF/OF period that EY and I would like to put out the best OF defense as I could when I need to give a player there rest.

Re: Official San Diego Padres Thread - 2006
Hmm... Doug Davis is pitching tomorrow and he hasn't had a good start, but Doug does extremely well against the Padres. I think he'll be coveted this offseason as he'd make a perfect middle-of-the-rotation starter... perhaps even a number 2.
We miss Ben Sheets, but another hot pitcher we face goes Thursday in Dave Bush. Then it's off to Chicago for a three game series against the Cubbies at the friendly confines.Comment

Wouldn't you know it.
Down 4-1, I go to do some other stuff, they tie it at 4. The second I come back, Trevor gives up back to back 2 out doubles in the 10th.Comment

Woody will be out 3 months after tearing his calf muscle in today's game.
I really don't know who will get called up since Estes is still a couple of weeks away from returning.Comment
