I really hope Coco Crisp can improve this season. So far it looks like he is the same player that we had at the end of last year. He still doesn't have a hit this season which is pretty depressing. Hopefully he can return to the player he was before his injury last year. A .300 avg in the bottom of our lineup would be great.

Now if they could just get him a few insurance runs.Comment

Re: Boston Red Sox: 2007
I'm watching the game live on TV today. Matsuzaka looks very, very solid. His fastball velocity isn't overpowering thus far (in the bottom of the 5th as I type this), but the sheer volume of his breaking pitches along with his excellent command makes him very difficult to hit.
One thing that he might need to adjust: He's throws a lot of his pitches high in the strike zone.Comment

I think that's probably it for Dice-K 6 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 8 K's. I'll take it.Comment

I didn't see much of the game, but he looked great in the 7th. Made the Royals batters look silly, they had no idea what was coming.
I'm impressed.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment
