At this point in his career, I would be surprised if he left the west coast.

I would love Greinke or Meche...I think Sabathia and Penny are reaches, but for different reasons.
I would take any of the Tigers' starters, but I don't think that is likely, either.

I suppose I would prioritize the ability to get into the 6th inning or deeper. There is no winning in October w/o a good pen, or (in the case of the Dbacks team that won) Randy Johnson...

Would Mussina be available if the Yanks fall out? I ask this out of curiosity.
        Australian Rules Football...just sayin'

Admittedly, I havent been an avid follower of Livan Hernandez but I was thinking he would be good based on the premise that he is a great innings eater...or at least was at one time.

Our first two draft picks seem pretty nice...a 6'6" power pitcher projected to crack into the pen by the end of the year and a good SS....

            that being said...

Soriano and Lee now have the same batting average....I dont know whether to be happy or sad....

I like how things are going, but we need Lee to hit better than .280...he is starting to strike out regularly again.

To be honest, its better if DLee is hitting HRs and hitting .280 than minimal HRs and hitting .315 like last year. The three spot is supposed to be an RBI.

Edit--And Wood is at it again.

Thankfully. Every win helps. Wow, Wood makes it way too interesting.

I thought Woody was gonna blow that one for sure.

Me too....I was not impressed with Wood or our avg with RISP...we could have ended the game sooner if we could hit well

Lee has been struggling this last month or so. He hasn't been hitting at all. Not many HRs, not many RBIs. Is it that hard to find tape from a couple years ago when he was a triple crown candidate through June? I know his swing and stance have changed a bit. It shouldn't be hard to fix. Really.

Eh, teams have those games so I'm not really worried.

That would have definitely been a loss in years past.

He should. He just had the night off a couple of games ago.

Thats two calls that first base umpire has blown already. That last one wasn't even close. Should be 1-1.
