(6 STRAIGHT WINS FOR THE BRONX BOMBERS!!) They are just clicking on all cylinders right now. Just a dangerous team with Arod backing Teixeria in that lineup, The whole team is just playing great baseball, We even have been playing small ball!!

They have great team chemistry and they are just having fun right now, Who else is falling in love with Francisco Cervelli (No Homo:wink

If Bruney is ready, Veras needs to get sent down. He's just been terrible. Here's hoping Aceves & Tomko both stay. My hunch is 1 is gonna end-up being sent-down to make room for Bruney

So, I hear that Pena had options so he was sent down. Ok, makes sense.

So, why didn't they just release Veras? Do the Yankees really think he's a good pitcher and that they'll lose him for nothing? Who wants Veras? Really? The only team that could possibly want him is the team that's slowly turning into the Yankees AAA Pitching System, the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Veras. Absolutely ridiculous to keep him up there. The guy is garbage.

i think they kept pena cause i coulda sworn he was put in for a-rod tonight at 3rd during the 9th inning. Pretty sure they sent down edwar, wish it would of been veras instead

How bout Fransisco Cervelli.... This kid has been outstanding. His confidence behind the plate has really impressed me. Not to mention he's hitting. Never would've expected him to be hitting close to .300 when he was under the Mendoza line @ Trenton.

CC has been BOSS his last 3 starts. He looks like he's also starting to get comfortable on the mound. Seems more relaxed. Not fooling around with his uniform as much as he was in the beginning of the year.

                    Looking Good.....

Went to the game last night, man it was a fun one to be at. CC looked great and A-Rod and Tex hit BOMBS. That Tex shot was ridiculous. Seven in a row!

You're right. I was listening to Michael Kay and he confused me by mentioning Pena.

I have yet to make it over to the new stadium, hopefully I'll make some arrangements sometime soon ( ).

Anyway, let's hope Hughes brings his [A] game and continues the Yanks success tonight!

Edwar is just as bad as Veras though. In addition to walking a ton of batters he also gives up a ton of home runs. At least Veras can keep the ball in the park. They need to work on developing a breaking pitch for him in the minors, because once you realize all he has is a changeup, he's very hittable.

There are other relievers in the minors (Robertson, Melancon) who I wish they had up over Veras though.

Any bets on whether Huff is getting plunked tonight? I hope not because it'll just prove the pundits right - that even Joba finds his own antics offensive.

Nah, he'll just [K] him in every plate appearance tonight ( ) - then Joba will fist pump in his face!
