That I agree with as well.

Can't have both in the rotation.

An article from Newsday that actually makes a good point. Expect hell to freeze over next.

Breaking News, data & opinions in business, sports, entertainment, travel, lifestyle, plus much more. Newsday.com is the leading news source for Long Island & NYC.

So that's why you can perhaps sell Pettitte on the idea of a midseason comeback; you might well need him. But in the meantime, don't give up on Aceves, Hughes and Kennedy by automatically relegating them to minor-league duty.

Hughes and Kennedy have become the poster boys for "why you can't do a youth movement in New York," and it is, of course, ridiculous. Both bombed in their big-league opportunities. And both - Hughes in the Arizona Fall League, Kennedy in Puerto Rico - displayed why they're not quite dead yet.

Give Newsday some credit. They are usually better than the Post and Daily News, although that isn't too hard.

Plus Davidoff is one of the rare good sportswriters in New York.

Yea, and much like Burnett, she'll get worse with age.

Yanks sign Chein-Meng Wang to a 1 yr/5 million dollar deal. Avoiding Salary arbitration. Good Job by Cashman. Here's hoping Wang has a good year so he can get a nice 3-5 year contract extension

So Pettitte turned down the 1yr/$10m deal.

Sorry Andy, I love you and were great in your prime but you're not worth more than that anymore.

At least its better than the Mets one.

Pettitte signed. 1 year deal with a base salary of $6MM that could reach $12MM based on incentives.
