Re: 2010 Cincinnati Reds
He is just a good professional hitter.
More times then not if there is a man on third with less then two outs he is going to get him home.
Phillips just swung for the fence all the time when he batted 4th.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

Re: 2010 Cincinnati Reds
11-11 now!
If we could play the Astros every game we would be World Series contenders!
Arroyo back on track, Oswalt is now 23-2 life time vs the Reds. He is due to lose about his next 20 games vs us.
Nice shots by Votto and Bruce!
I love winning!!!!

Re: 2010 Cincinnati Reds
I absolutely LOVE the lineup...w/ Phillips in the 2 hole, Cabrera down in the lineup. Janish & Hanigan rakin'. we need Cordero to STOP those damn walks,& retire the side in order. I hope Dickerson's wrist is ok...anyone heard anything?
Keep on "Rolen"... RedsLast edited by Motown; 04-30-2010, 08:53 AM.Comment

Re: 2010 Cincinnati Reds
The offense has surprised me this year. I thought the Reds would be hitting worse than this. Hopefully Stubbs can get into a good lead-off groove and Rolen can stay healthy. He's been a great clean-up guy.NFL: Indianapolis Colts (12-6)

Re: 2010 Cincinnati Reds
Seriously tho can we quit wasting our time with him???
The dude is more fragile then Greg Oden's knees!!!
They really need to trade him for anything they can get at this point, he is just not dependable at all. The guy is 28 years old, it is not like he is some young guy who is going to get better. Its amazing you would think he is 48 with all the injuries he suffers.
I would much rather stick with the struggling Stubbs who you can count on to play then Dickerson. By the way Dickerson was only batting .227 when he was injured.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

Re: 2010 Cincinnati Reds
1 hit no walks and a complete game shutout!
We are now only 2 games back, I love winning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously this team is really fun to watch.
We also need to give Dusty his due, everyone wants to bash him when he messes up but no one (but myself) wants to give him props when he does good.
Take a look at what he as done the last two weeks.
1. Switched the line up around.
Moving Cabrera to the lead off spot, Philllips to second and Rolen to 4th turned out to be great moves. Stubbs has even been better since moving down in the line up.
2. Keeping Harang in the rotation.
Everyone was calling for Harang to lose his spot two weeks ago, Dusty said no way and Harang has had 3 good starts in a row.
3. Starting Nix two night ago even after Gomes had a great game the night before.
Listening to the Reds inside pitch on the radio two nights ago everyone was calling in complaining that Nix was starting in LF that night. Well Nix had a huge RBI double and made a diving catch in LF that Gomes would have never came close to catching.
Right now Dusty is pushing all the right buttons, we are 11-4 in our last 15!ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

Re: 2010 Cincinnati Reds
Yeah Homer pitched a great game today. 73 of his 90 total pitches were strikes and he never reached 3 balls in a count to any hitter. I hope he found his mojo and we see similar outings from him going forward. Just stay ahead in the count and throw strikes, Homer!MLB: Cincinnati Reds

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment
