Let's just say that went about as well as you'd expect.
Carlos came on to pitch the Bottom of the 9th, and after retiring the first batter he faced via strike out (swinging, of course, since I'm certain strike three was nowhere near the plate), he allowed a single, threw a wild pitch to move that runner up a base, walked a man intentionally to set up a double play that would never happen, threw another wild pitch to advance both runners, walked a guy unintentionally to load the bases, and allowed a walk-off sacrifice fly to end the game.
Apparently, that was enough for him to want to pack his bags and head home, leaving his stint with the Bats cut short after just 3 games. His line in those: 3.2 IP, 6 BB, 6 K, 2 H, 3 ER, 2 wild pitches, 2.18 WHIP, 7.36 ERA.

Good to seem them bounce back now two big series road series vs Brewers and Pirates, but at this point it seems all the series are going to be meaningful

There's no room for error the rest of the way. To hit that magic number of 90 wins, they have to win 59 more times. I can't see it happening. Hope it does but doubt it.
