I hate this ****ing team lol. Not getting my hopes up again until they beat up the Rays and Sox.

At least D.J is heating up. Too bad everybody else are serial chokers. And what the hell happened to Gleyber. Doesn't look like he'll even crack 20 hrs.

I think Boone has to go. This team is underachieving. They need a shake up, they should be embarrassed they have been the Rays and Redsox's doormat.

Most Yankee fans I know are calling for both Boone AND Cashman to go. If the Boss was still alive and running things, I think for sure Boone would have been gone a while ago and Cashman wouldn't be far behind. What do you guys think about Cashman?

Hopefully this post looks a bit dumb later tonight because we won in spite of this, but what is this lineup today facing Ohtani while ‘the season is on the line’?

1. DJ LeMahieu, 3B
2. Luke Voit, 1B
3. Gary Sanchez, C
4. Giancarlo Stanton, DH
5. Gleyber Torres, SS
6. Rougned Odor, 2B
7. Miguel Andujar, LF
8. Clint Frazier, RF
9. Brett Gardner, CF

No Judge or Gio? Do either Boone or Cashman actually realize the team isn’t in first place? You just don’t send out that lineup against Ohtani when every game is important now if you’re serious about winning. They acknowledged the bad position the team is in yet there’s still no urgency to win? Does Boone realize there’s a good chance he never manages again if this team misses the playoffs?


I just can’t understand any of this. If Judge really needs extra rest, DH him and play Stanton in the OF for once. What is there to lose?

Anyone else getting a bit nervous about Cole? I know there’s extra pressure on him right now with the ‘sticky stuff crackdown’ to go out and dominate to silence the doubters, fans are already starting to turn on him, got booed on his way off the mound today......but this is a bit worrying.

If post Spider Tack Cole is closer to Pirates Cole then Astros Cole, between him and Stanton......this team would be in some trouble for a long while.

It got a little scary there but now that 9.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R/ER, 2 BB, 12 K, 129 P line Vs Houston just shut everyone up. Amazing, you really couldn’t have written a better ending to the new ‘Cole sucks without Spider Tack’ narrative. Even I feel dumb for doubting him now.


Argued to stay in during the 9th too. Thank you Gerrit Cole for stopping Boone from putting Chapman out there. If only he could make Cashman call up Park and get Wade or Odor out of here too. And put Stanton in LF. And release Justin Wilson.

This team is not at all where it should be right now. It's time for heads to roll.

Oh and wtf is up with Torres. Dude has literally lost his talent. And was a cornerstone for us. Think he has 3 HR at the break. Meager 240 something average. He's broken like this team.

And Judge needs to cut out the trolling on rival teams for good. He’s 0-2 now, it’s a lot funnier until they get the last laugh on us in the end. Blasts ‘New York, New York’ on the way out of Fenway in the playoffs in 2018, they not only embarrass us and knock us out at YS, but they use it as a victory song the rest of the way too. Does the jersey tug taunting Houston, they embarrass us the next game and Altuve himself walks us off again.
