It makes it so much worse that he had no business making any comments at all, he didn't have to say anything other than "The hearing is final, we look forward to the season". Instead, after the hearing (which are notoriously harsh in the first place with teams trashing players trying to explain why they don't deserve to get paid), you come out and say all this unnecessary crap. I agree, I really like what Cashman has done with the farm system and the future looks really bright. I don't want to be hyperbolic but 2-3 of these kids take off like the potential says they can sprinkle in another legit pitcher in the starting rotation and it could be the 1995-2001 Yankees all over again

Yea, so far "knock on wood" it's the only real negative to come out of spring training so far and hopefully the last with start of the season right around the corner.
Big thing I'm worried about is not who will take his place as yanks have options it's that these types of injuries can linger all year even when seemingly fine. Many say it's a big reason Bryce Harper was not himself last season. Hopefully Didi recovers fully quickly and still puts together a solid season
