Big win today, something positive heading into the home opener.
Hopefully the home stand goes better then this opening road trip.

Biggest issue I see so far is starters coming up short innings wise, I mean c.c has the longest outing so far. And clutch hitting, but it's early and as MLamm16 stated above the future is bright. Side note I like the more aggressive approach on base paths, and cc has looked pretty good in back to back outings now, I will take 3 runs over 6+ from him all year

Love: disrespect at the Mets (we don't hang up wild card banners) and just his whole mentality, always has it together. It's funny how unemotional the people who run our team tend to be, I guess you had to leave that **** at the door to deal with The Boss in the first place.

Don't like: this garbage about how "we aren't allowed" to tank. Or the one statement Levine made "Cash sold Hal on the plan, I hope it works" just comes off to me as a guy trying to distance himself from a possible failed rebuild, but I read everything Levine says with a sinister undertone lol.

Kaep basically dead, getting another TV surgery. Drafted a pitcher out of college with the intention of moving him through the system quickly... A Tommy John surgery later (I thought it was 2 but remembered he opted to let it heal naturally last year... Leading to this) hopefully he can pitch by the time we're ready to compete. Smh, minor league pitching for this franchise is cursed.

Yea, I'm about to close the book on Kap, it's unfortunate, but I'm not holding my breath.

At least the kids look promising. Montgomery, Severino, and maybe Cessa could hold down the fourth and fifth spots in the rotation, And there's a good crop of young pitchers in the minors.

Think there's a good chance Otani gets posted next year, obviously the Yankees need to be all in.

Kap probably had the highest ceiling of all the young pitchers, but Yanks have a wealth of decent options for now. Could be worse.

They are in a good spot right now, starting pitching is getting stronger 2nd time through rotation and offense is taking turns with big games despite things like Didi being out, Sanchez going down and Bird not hitting a damn thing right now.
