Simply unacceptable and somewhat embarrassing overall performance this series. Destroyed in game 1 and shut out through 8 in the finale while giving up 6, that one against the worst pitcher of the 3 Boston sent to the mound in the series....
One of the best lineups on paper in the league no showed twice, pitching really needs to turn it around. It’s only early April of course, the team has too much talent not to turn it around but a pretty disappointing rivalry series result.
I wouldn’t care as much if we were at least competitive in more then just one of the 3.Comment
