We won on a day where our biggest bats are quiet. That'll be key to how this season goes. Ditto for Tanaka's good outing.

Tanaka was very lucky the Jays were not sharp. In the early innings he threw some very bad crushable pitches. You could even see him cringe after the swing and misses. Luckily he was able to buckle down and get on track.

True but the same can be said about Sanchez on the other side he was in trouble almost every inning and our bats didn’t punish him, this game could have been lopsided either way imo. Glad we won a game with zero input from the big boys and a Tanaka that was off his top game, these are the wins that make up the difference at end of the season

Disgusting endings to the last 2 games. Unacceptable back to back bad bullpen performances. No way this series should have been a 2-2 split.

Yea should have been a sweep or 3-1 at worst, let’s hope this is a early season blip and not a trend moving forward. I do think Betances has to have a short leash this year if his struggles continue, too many quality arms out there to keep putting him in key situations time after time, just my 2 cents, hopefully he figures it out though
