Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
I don't know, there is an average of 7-8 blocks per game.
It is too much for a 60 point game.
Sometimes it seems that an offensive player is waiting to be blocked when trying to shot under the basket wide open or on a fast break.
Another thing that creates this issue is the fact that a lot of times under the basket you try to do a pump fake, but the game shootsComment

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
I just ran a beautiful play online against the Kings. Had a 3 on 1 break with Laborsoa in the middle and Klay fading to the 3pt line . Well the guy controls Rondo and follows Klay out to the 3pt line, but when he see's I'm going all the way with Laborsoa, he turbo back and recovers to block my lay up attempt. Now how you play two guys at once is beyond me.Comment

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
Because it could mess things up worse, and you and others would be here screaming to high heaven if you had DeAndre in good position and watched as balls morph through his hands, because Too Many BlocksHELLO BROOKYLN.

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
Well the opposite is just as bad tho. If U have two extremes, do u think one extreme is better than the other?Last edited by MadManCometh; 10-28-2015, 06:24 PM.Comment

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
What people are saying is that they'd rather deal with the blocks as is, than to go back to balls phasing completely through limbs due to 'ratings.' Which also gives the game another tool to screw users when it feels like it wants a particular event to play out.Comment

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
I'll trust in Mike....he said all he's doing is toning down non shot blockers...
and while the people worried about over nerfing can calm a bit....
Hopefully some of these over exaggerated stories to get the point across can die down a bit as well...it's not even necessary lolComment

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
I'd rather those guards TRY for the steals instead of the blocks really.HELLO BROOKYLN.

If the only reason that's not happening already is because guard blocks are overpowered, then guard blocks are REALLY overpowered.Comment

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
And this is where ppl are confused. Eventually ppl will feel the same about the extreme blocking. Ppl are just more tolerant now because they have endured the other extreme for a longer period of time. . Bottom line, it's a problem that needs to be fixed regardless. Ppl need to stop settling.Comment

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but any mode with User created players, is going to be ridiculous in one way or another.Jordan Mychal Lemos
@crypticjordan
Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: Blocks are ridiculous!
And it's not just guards that are blocking dunks. It's the blocking period. Every big in the game is Mutombo. And not every big are good at blocking shots but whatever.
The problem is more than blocks. It's that slow animation process that often takes place that allows players to recover and make up a ridiculous amount of space in the first place.Last edited by MadManCometh; 10-28-2015, 11:28 PM.Comment
