What in the world - if anything - could the Bulls possibly get back by moving Rondo? And maybe a better question... who would want him on their team?

Yeah release him and have a team in China sign him lol.

Maybe a reunion with Doc in LA? But I don't think they'd trade anything for him, specially considering his salary.

Yeah I could see Gordon, Vucevic and probably 2 unprotected first rounders for Cousins happening. I don't see them making a move without getting Gordon back though.

It seems pretty fair to me with how Avery is ballin this year. I'm a Middleton and Brogdon fan so I like that side of the deal. Personally if it were mine I'd probably remove the 1st if I was the one receiving it, but that's just my preference in making things hard on myself lol.

You're giving up too much in the first trade. Wiggins + Dunn for Butler is the minimum they should give you. As for the rest, I could see Wolves/Thibodeau wanting Gibson, but not sure about Mirotic. I'd take him and the 1st rounder out and do Butler + Gibson for Wiggins + Dunn + Jones. Even then, they win the trade.

As for the second trade, it just doesn't make sense to me. Why is Denver trading their best young big + a 1st rounder for another wing player? Not to mention Wiggins hasn't really lived up to the hype. You mentioned WCS as a potential target. It probably makes more sense for you to trade Wiggins to Kings for WCS + pieces.

You don't want to keep Wiggins? He's only 21 and can play SG. If you're not a fan, what about swapping Wiggins for LaVine in the Butler trade? LaVine is a 21 year old SG who's an explosive athlete and now a good 3pt shooter. I'm a big fan of him.

As a real life Hawks fan I can't figure out what to do and keep it close to realistic. I want to move bazemore and resigned all the bench players for min deals.

Schroeder and Howard i plan to keep bc Dennis is my fav played and Howard for sim reasons. I am around the all star break and have one of the worst records in the NBA. So I guess that leaves bazemore and milsap on the trade block. I am leaning toward just a salary dump for bazemore. I would like to get a high draft pick for milsap If I move him and also need a backup PG.

I signed mike Scott, korver, splitter, Sefolosha and I think muscalo all to min deals and none of them have great trade value anyway. I also extended hardaway for like 3 million

How's Raptors going in your association? Could trade them Millsap + Sefolosha (if you'd be willing to part with him). In return you could get your 1st round pick (not sure how high) + your backup PG in Joseph. To make salaries work and of course to match value, Raptors would need to add a couple more pieces (both of which could be beneficial to you). I'm thinking Ross (nice young wing on a good contract) + Sullinger (who's an expiring which is great for you).

Hawks get: 1st round pick + Joseph + Ross + Sullinger.

Raptors get: Millsap + Sefolosha.

As for Bazemore, if you're just looking for a salary dump, maybe look for a struggling team who's void of talent and can absorb his salary. I'm thinking 76ers. Could trade him straight up for Ilyasova who's another expiring for you. 76ers already have too many bigs and they'd probably welcome a decent wing like Bazemore.

Considering his contract situation, I don't think you will get a very high pick for Millsap. A Top 10 Protected pick and salaries to match up is probably the best you can hope for. Teams reportedly interested in real life are Toronto, Denver, New Orleans, Sacremento and two unnamed teams (I'm guessing Boston and OKC).

If you took a bad contract back (like Asik from New Orleans), then maybe you could get that to a Top 5 Protected pick instead. So, an example would be Evans, Asik and a Top 5 pick for Millsap. However, New Orleans or no other team would trade a pick that high without long-term assurances from Millsap. And they may still pass because he's going to want close to a max contract and that may be too steep of a price. Especially for a team like Toronto who's going to have their own FA's to worry about in the offseason.

So I ended up deciding to keep milsap and will try and sign him to a long term deal when he opts at end of the year. The only trade I made was dumping bazemore for a 2nd round pick and Mike Miller. I might trade Howard in the offseason as he is demanding a trade and morale at 0.

I simmed the majority of the season (final few min if game was close) and I ended up barely missing the playoffs. I got very lucky and jumped up from the 10th spot to the 3rd.

SG Josh Jackson - 76 ovr - A- pot
PG Dennis Smith - 79 ovr - A+ pot
PG Markelle Fultz - 77 ovr - A- pot
PF Harry Giles - 75 ovr - A pot
SG Malik Monk - 73 ovr - A+ pot

PG Dearon Fox - 76 ovr - B- pot
PG Lonzo Ball - 75 ovr - B- pot

I currently have 40 million in cap space and 59 million luxury with no team options coming up with milsap the only potential FA I need to resign if he opts out. I do need a backup PG, but don't really want to draft one at 3 as Schroeder is my guy. Howard had 3.5 * trade potential so I can fetch something solid for him.

Would you stay pat at 3?
Move back a few spots and pick up some future draft picks ?
Draft Giles at 3 and then trade Howard ?

Don't see who would want to trade for Howard right now...with his contract he is a core player where in reality he should be more of a "role player" for a contender. Essentially a Bogut with the Warriors he can't carry a team offensively and defensively he is great in spurts still, but not that effective in a full 40 minute playoff game. Maybe a swap with the Bucks if Monroe keeps his contract...gets a lot of money off the books in a year and gets you younger. But the Bucks need to resign the greek freak and parker, both of which are looking at possible max contracts.

Howard to the Trail Blazers could be an option, issue is the potential on all their trade assets, Crabbe, Harkless etc are all low and undervalue them quite a bit in 2k. Albeit Crabbe got way to big of a contract this summer.

Based on reality/right now, I wouldn't even dare touch Giles with a top five pick. Dude hasn't been healthy since middle school and is a grade A potential Greg Oden injury wise. Josh Jackson is more of a 3 in the NBA, and would be a good fit. Great defensive stud, that can rebound and really do it all at the NBA level. Still needs to learn how to play more controlled but dude has the highest ceiling in the top 5 of this draft probably. Issue is he isn't as polished as the guards ahead of him. Remind me a bit of a Harrison Barnes physically, not as polished of a shooter but a better defender and on the boards..
