Ibaka has already said he will not resign with the Magic and they seem to be missing a scorer and have a glut of Bigs, this gives them a scorer, a Lottery Pick and a developmental player and all they lose is a big that is unhappy with how the team is playing.

The Magic are Currently 20-32 and have lost 4 in a row, they are sitting in 12th in the Eastern Conference and are 7.5 games out of the 8th spot
Portland are 22-29 and have lot 4 in a row, currently sitting in 8th spot buy a game from falling to 9th.
Get rid of that 1st, that's an overpay for Ibaka. Orlanda basically gave away two lottery talents for Ibaka (Sabonis and Oladipo) and it was a massive overpay then, too -- especially in light of what they did in free agency.

I'd go Crabbe for Ibaka, at best, make it a straight swap -- maybe actually have them send you a 2nd rounder, because you're giving them better long-term value with Crabbe and his deal than the expiring contract of Ibaka (who's no guarantee to re-sign but, since you have his bird rights and he'll be playing on a much more talented/stable squad than Orlando, the odds are much better).

Layman for Watson is a wash, so do that if you want.

What's the final piece you guys think is needed on the Pistons' current roster to make us a championship contender? Should I make a deadline deal or wait for free agency?

I'd go with a true stretch four -- not Tobias Harris, who's really a SF playing a position up because of the way your roster is constructed. Your starting five of Jackson, KCP, Stanley Johnson, Harris, and Drummond is good on paper but I feel the two weakest links in that are KCP and Harris -- Harris more so because he's not playing in his natural position, but is signed to a dirt cheap deal (relatively speaking) compared to what you'd find in free agency during the summer.

Detroit won't be able to afford the likes of Paul Millsap with the money he'll command -- unless they trade for him and obtain his bird rights. I'd swing Harris for Millsap, allowing the Hawks to play Bazemore more as a two than a three, shifting Harris to the 3, and giving Atlanta a cheap asset for the next three years.

Millsap will command a pretty penny in free agency -- 30M+ for sure -- but I think he'd really bring it on both ends for Detroit and would benefit from SVG being his coach. SVG is trying to fit Harris into the role Rashard Lewis had on that 09 Orlando team, but Harris is more of a point-forward than a power forward, unlike Lewis who was a straight lights out shooter at that four spot and really opened up the paint for D12. Harris isn't nearly that shooter -- Millsap, in my opinion, is better than Harris is and brings it on the boards and defensively; you could even run small with him at center and he'd be able to take the punishment with ease, unlike Harris who would be eaten alive.

        My thoughts.

I may restart my nets and do this myself. But do the lakers really want mozgov and Lopez or will mozgov be shipped elsewhere?

Lakers can play Lopez 28 mins and Mozgod 20 mins and it's perfect.

I did LouWill + first unprotected for Noel but Hezonja is not available ATM.

That would give a lineup of

            DLO/Young/Deng/Nance/Mozgod

            Mario Chalmers/Clarkson/Ingram/Randle/Noel

              NBA 2K17 Trade Discussion Thread

I'm going a Nets MyLeague and due to my lack of draft picks I'm looking to move Brook to pick some up. One of the teams that sorta makes sense to me is Dallas. Even though they're not doing well this year, adding Brook with Barnes, Matthews, Dirk (if he doesn't retire) could be a good formula. Plus they will have a top 5 pick so will get a good rookie. The trade I'm looking at is:

              Nets trade:
              Brook Lopez to DAL
Randy Foye to 76ers (bayless and henderson are out for the year so he'd be their backup 2)

              Mavs trade:
              Bogut to BKN
              2018 1st to BKN
Deron Williams to 76ers (gives them a solid veteran PG to play with and mentor their young studs)

              76ers trade:
              2018 2nd to BKN
              Robert Covington to DAL

So it results in each team getting:

              BKN - Bogut, Mavs '18 1st, 76ers '18 2nd

DAL - Brook Lopez, Robert Covington

              PHI - Deron Williams, Foye

This is the deadline of year one and all picks are for year 2, so basically Dallas trading their 1st for that year would be under the assumption that it won't be a high pick given that they'd look to be in the playoffs with Brook and Barnes as a core along with their top 3-5 pick in the 2017 draft.

I think it's pretty well balanced overall. Thoughts?

Probably worth noting that Dirk is out for the year and Dallas is far enough down in the standings that they would have a top 3-5 pick regardless of how well they play after the trade. But Cuban is always making to make a splash so I could see him still going after a big name guy in the midst of a lost season given the circumstances.

The only issue I have with that trade is that the 2018 Dallas 1st has no protections -- Cuban can't bet on not getting a top-10 pick next season (if Dirk retires, all bets are off for Dallas' hopes in 2017-18), so I'd slap a top-10 protection on there for them and call it done.

If Cuban is trading a naked 2018 1st with no protections, it's only for a legit superstar -- which Brook Lopez is definitely not; at this point, Lopez isn't even an All-Star but considering Dallas' lack of good free agent signings with past cap space, trading for Lopez (and his slight overpay of a contract) isn't a terrible move as long as that 1st gets some protections on it.

Thanks for that suggestion Millsap is a great fit, but I couldn't work out a good deal so I decided to shake up my lineup and send Tobias Harris to the bench in favor of Leuer just like SVG did. I do plan on revisiting a Cavaliers' offer of Kay Felder and a 2019 Second Round Pick for Beno Udrih at the deadline since still haven't found a backup PG.

I'm also throwing Boban Marjanovic into the rotation for my final two games before the deadline to decide if I want to trust him as my backup C and shop Aron Baynes since I know he's opting out this offseason. If I do get rid of him what type of value could I get for him and Reggie Bullock?

What would it take to get Nick Young from the Lakers? I am going to do the Magic and Blazers trade I posted a little higher up but with out Watson.

I was thinking of offering them Leonard for Young and a filler if need be

When you add the pick to the trade it brings up a list of protections to add to it.

So I have start from the beginning. Usually I simulate the first season and the playoffs but there was really big joke. The Chicago bulls have won the title (the simulator difficult was on 50) but I didn't wanted to win the title in the first year. So I started fresh and made my first trade with the suns:

Suns get: Mirotic and Rondo, Sac Pick 2017 (I don't think we will get this in 2017), Canaan
Bulls get: Brandon Knight and Ulis, 2019 1st Round Pick

I think the only bad thing in this trade is the 2019 Pick because I don't how good the suns are in year 2018/2019
