Can someone tell me if they got rid of the step back jumper? I can't find it in the control scheme?

Also can someone tell me if defense plays better and smarter turning help defense to zero in coach settings? I still have teammates leaving guys wide open.

Hold turbo, and hold the right stick away from the basket while moving in any direction. Generally, holding the right stick in any of the four basic directions while holding turbo and moving around the perimeter will give you a different type of momentum shot.

How do you do a hop step layup? I sometimes trigger it while driving but idk how. It seems random...

As you are drivng to the basket tap square once whih will initiate the hop, then press and hold squarea second time before the hop animation ends to go into the layup.

From the initial hop, if you dont press and hold square a second time, it initiates a pump fake which you can transition into an up and under.

Does anyone know if you can make your screener still "fade" the screen , even if you elect not to use it? Sort of like Stockton and Malone use to do it. Whenever i dont use the screen and try and take on my screeners man , and select the fade option so i can pass it out for a shot, he will roll almost every time still.

Best defensive settings anyone? I play alot of MyLEAGUE vs. HOF difficulty CPU and vs. friends in head to head battles. It seems like the CPU gets alot of free 3's from off-ball screens n such but when I'm playing against my friends, especially one of them that spams Russell Westbrook, he's literally dunking on ANY and EVERYONE and I was wondering what defensive sets would be best for limiting perimeter shots and a different one for limiting the drive-in cheese?

I always turn Help Defense to 0 in coach settings. I like to switch from guarding 3 on the point of emphasis to Junk. Keep control of a guy on the perimeter. Perimete d with you team mates is iffy.

How do you get your other 4 guys you're not controlling to move around and set picks for each other without calling plays?

It seems like when you call for instance freelance- scoring, they'll move around, but next time down the court you have to do it again.

Playing as a PG for the Wolves in mycareer, I'm struggling with the ally-oop pass to my man KAT. My timing is out or I throw the pass too late ir KAT goes up early..
Previous games even before you get your ally-oop badges I never had any issues.

Any help would be much appreciated 😀🏀
