It happened to me 3 out of 4 games. 2 games I selected non-white jerseys and 2 games I selected nothing. When I selected them I changed them in jersey selection, made other changes, then returned to the main view. If either team selects any jersey they will both most likely end up white in game.

Game 1: Selected jersey - white/white
Game 2: Selected jersey - white/white
Game 3: No selection - color/color
Game 4: No selection - white/white

I hope there is a fix soon. I'll have to hold off on PNO until then.

Make sure you hit X (PS4) or A (Xbox) to actually select the jersey. I noticed that I was changing my jerseys then backing out going into the other menu and it wouldn’t change. You have to actually select the jersey you’re using.

Is anyone else having issues in PNO with teams not wearing their nba nike color socks? All the games I’ve played the teams have worn basic black or white socks

Make sure you hit X (PS4) or A (Xbox) to actually select the jersey. I noticed that I was changing my jerseys then backing out going into the other menu and it wouldn’t change. You have to actually select the jersey you’re using.

OMG! OMG! OMG!

We're sleeping on the Player control part! It's in the name, but there's something that we're probably not aware of. It counts towards your record, AND it counts towards your required number of wins for that tier.

5 humans vs 5 humans. You get to pick your position, and you choose from a list of players for that respective tier. By coincidence, everyone ended up quitting in the game I played except for me. I got credit for the win, and I got credit for completing Tier 3.

I can do this instead of learning a whole team [emoji3].

I was wondering where this new random control method that didn't sound like it made any sense came from. I thought it was 1 on 1 player lock.

I always felt this was suspect when it said finding 4 of 4 players and kept going up before I backed out.

There is a certain level of freedom offensively I prefer from 2k18 over 2k19. I don’t know if it’s linked to the hipriding phenomenon persay but this year I feel a little stuck even performing the simplest of moves. At this point I’d take a hip ride to the basket and miss EVERY single time over how stuck I feel sometimes esp with the natural lag that comes with online play. And this is coming from a guy who never mastered isomotion

Oh wow. Just discovered that the pause timer resets. Only find out, because this douchebag would pause the game, and then unpause it right before his timer reached zero. He basically extended the game by a lot, because he let the timer expire when timeouts were called. He used all his timeouts.

I will never understand this concept of being ******* for the sake of being one. Just play the freaking game.

Put in that work last night in my first game, Mitchell is so smooth.

Pretty dumb that I have to play and win as two other teams before I can use Utah again, though. I just want to use my team is all.

I definitely run into those guys quite a bit. They test your patience so much too. If I'm about to lose to one of those guys I'll call all my remaining timeouts and and let them run out, then pause the game until the timer is up.

Yea. Your Jazz are pretty cold in this game.

I ran with them once. We struggled in the first half. But that was only because it seemed like they took out Donovan, Rubio, and Gobert the majority of that half. I was killing with Donovan in the first quarter and we went up double digits before that.

Then the second half the auto subs were better and we were able to sustain offense to win big. I swear that ol boy didn't score the whole 3rd quarter. I meant to look at that after the game but forgot. I just remember looking at the score in the fourth quarter and thinking it was the same score he had at halftime. [emoji23]

Sorry for the late answer : Kushmir, El_tercero and guesswhozbak17

So, I think off-ball defense can be maybe separated in two types of players :

- The ones who use this actively to compensate the flaws of the IA defense.

- The ones who stick away from the ball so the IA makes the major part of their defense.

At the moment, on my 10 games, only 2 players played on-ball defense and switched. ALL the others would either defense with the big under the paint or worse, on the opposite wing.

It's unfair for several reasons :

- It awards players who do less.

- The off-ball defender kinda "rests" while he's defending since he's just passively waiting. His mind stays fresh for the next attack.


And each time, these guys were spamming steal (why wouldn't they? They don't give a rat about foul trouble since it's always 6 fouls in a 20 minutes game...).

And their points were :

- fastbreak (it's wayyyy too powerful)
- Pick&Roll (what is happening this year ? Sometimes my defenders defend it well, sometimes they're dumb chickens and my settings won't change a thing )

And that's it.

Out of this, my points of improvement at the moment :

- Memorize the plays. I wrote them down for the teams I wanna play with but I've trouble to set them since I'm perma pressed by steal spam (and fouls). And a lot of players have like 6-8 pages so it's hard to find the ones I want. And since we change a lot of teams this year, it's harder to memorize.

- Work on my jump shot and free throws. I'm losing too much point on this. I don't get why, visually, my jauge is good but I miss so much. Maybe they nerf the X/Square button this year and they really want us to use the right stick.

- Try to calm down, take all my time-out each quarter because i'm raging too hard on steal spammers.


I'm as well really happy of the efficienty of the plays this year. I just wish I won't have to passively defense off-ball to win games.

For those that tried the player control mode, are you getting credits for your wins? I got credit the first couple times, but I haven't got any since.
