Does anyone know what the new Focus on Player Defenses do when you call them. Scott OG never explained them. Grey 5, Grey 5 Iso, and there are a few others. Jordan Rules is the only one I know what it does. Do they override what you have set for your individual coach settings for a particular player?

I remember listening to Scott’s live stream and he said something about there being an adjustment to 5 out? Is that one of these sets?

No clue, I'm trying to figure them out myself. I've searched on the internet and nothing. If you figure it out please post and I will do the same.

Does anyone know if you can set specific plays after you press L1 on Ps4? Just want to have all the plays I like as the first 4 options rather having to scroll through them. Thanks!

Is there a way to pick up your dribble immediately after a step back with the button? Every time I do it, I’m still dribbling.

What’s the trick to the pick n roll?

I’m position locked onto the PG with play calling on auto just to set the stage. Seems every time a play is called with some pick n roll action, my post pass is intercepted. I’ve tried overhead passes and all. I’m on default All-Star.

Havent started using them, but I watch all Spurs games last season. It was painful to see Kawai not with the franchise.

They have modified their Swing freelance a little, and looks like Slice action to me. However, I'm not sure how the Slice freelance is executed. I posted the gameplay in another thread. I would recommend that u run the Thru set as u can hit Aldridge with post action on mismatch or DeMar at top of key for pnr. However, I only saw one Thru action when they played the Hawks the other day. If u want Gay at the post then u have to manual assign PUNCH THRU to Gay.

Turn Ace on and Play Calling Auto, and u'll see a mix of Hawks and Zipper series. Anyway, two series were named after the Spurs. u wont get them wrong.

I wont say its money plays, but these plays are what they run irl. They are currently not in the Spurs playbook. You may want to add them manually.

Suggest that u do a fake past first then overhead pass.

Second this. Last year I could call plays without even being a high OVR. Left on D-pad does nothing! I just want to do simple freelances.

I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice on setting / playstyle.

So I pretty much only play myleague and Im finding pro to be too easy and all star to be too difficult. I pretty much play for fun, I have no intention of playing competitively or mastering all the control combos. I pretty much just want a simple fun game that I'm not winning every game, but Im not getting blown out either. Im too old for all the crazy advanced controls... lol

My biggest issue is I cant seem to get any offense going on all star, I dont think my defense is terrible. I just tend to fall behind by like 30 as the game gets into the 3rd. No shots drop, no one gets open.

Anyone else play casually and could offer up some advice for finding a good balance?

You have to shoot or neutralize the left stick or it'll do the hesitation.

Any help for limiting transition 3's? I played against the Warriors tonight and the CPU torched me with these. Even with the offensive rebounding set to "limit transition", I still had guys just standing in the paint while Klay runs to the 3pt line all alone.

I'd assume it's got a lot to do with me not running guys back manually, but I'd love to hear people's thoughts on what they do.
